5. Installation and Wiring
Before installation, ensure you have all necessary tools and components. Refer to the wiring diagrams carefully for correct connections.

6. Tuya App Setup
The T12 Smart Door Lock integrates with the Tuya Smart app for remote management and advanced features. Follow these steps to set up your device:
- Download the Tuya App: Scan the QR code provided or search for "Tuya Smart" on your device's app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS) and download it.
- Open Tuya App and Add Device: Open the Tuya app and click the "+" icon to add new equipment.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select "Auto scan" and click "Searching". Once available devices are found, click "Next". Choose your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and click "Next".



7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Adding Users via Tuya App
- Add Administrator User: In the app, select "Member", click the "+" icon to add a user. Fill in the name, ensure "Administrator" is toggled on, and click "Next step".
- Add Access Code: For the selected user, click "Add" next to "Code". Input a 6-digit code or click "Randomly generated". Input a code name and click "Save".
- Add Ordinary User: To add an ordinary member, click "Ordinary member" and then the "+" icon. Input the required information and click "Next step". You can then add Fingerprint, Code, or Card access for this user.



7.2 Alarm Record Management
- Check and Remove Alarms: In the Tuya app, navigate to the "Log" section and select "Alarms". Here you can view alarm records (e.g., "Alarm of wrong card"). To clear an alarm, select it and confirm the action.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the keypad and surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronics.
- Connection Check: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
- Software Updates: Keep the Tuya Smart app updated to the latest version to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Environmental Protection: Although IP68 rated, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions or direct water jets to maximize product lifespan.
9. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as many smart home devices do not support 5GHz. Check that the device is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Card or PIN not working: Verify that the card or PIN has been correctly programmed into the system via the Tuya app. Ensure the card type (ID/IC) matches the device's configuration.
- No power to the device: Check the 12V DC power supply connection and ensure it is providing adequate power. Inspect wiring for any breaks or loose connections.
- Keypad unresponsive: If the keypad is unresponsive, check the power supply. If power is present, try restarting the device by temporarily disconnecting and reconnecting power.
10. User Tips
- Optional Wi-Fi Connectivity: The T12 model offers optional Wi-Fi connectivity. If your model does not include Wi-Fi, you will manage users and settings directly through the keypad.
- Power Supply: The device operates on 12V DC. Ensure you use a compatible power supply to avoid damage.
- Regular Code Changes: For enhanced security, regularly change your access codes, especially for temporary users.
- Backup Admin Cards: Keep a backup of your Admin Add/Delete cards in a secure location.
11. Warranty and Support
Warranty: We provide a one-year warranty from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover defects caused by buyer misuse, fire, or other damage not attributable to manufacturing defects. If the product damage is caused by the buyer, shipping fees for warranty service will be borne by the buyer.
