7. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Connection
The Awei Y669 speaker supports TWS functionality, allowing you to pair two Y669 speakers together for a true stereo sound experience.

- Ensure both Awei Y669 speakers are powered off.
- Power on both speakers. They should both be in Bluetooth pairing mode (flashing blue LED).
- On one of the speakers (this will be your primary speaker), double-press the Power button or a dedicated TWS button (if present). The speaker will search for the other speaker.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the LED indicators on both speakers will change to indicate a successful TWS connection (e.g., one solid blue, the other flashing blue, or both solid blue).
- Now, enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and connect to the primary speaker (the one you initiated TWS pairing from). Only one "Awei Y669" will appear in your device's Bluetooth list.
- Once connected, audio will play in stereo across both speakers.
To disconnect TWS, simply power off one of the speakers, or double-press the TWS button on either speaker again.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water. Do not expose to saltwater or other chemicals.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Speaker does not power on | Low battery; Power button not pressed long enough | Charge the speaker; Press and hold the Power button for 3-5 seconds. |
| Cannot pair via Bluetooth | Speaker not in pairing mode; Device Bluetooth off; Too far from device | Ensure speaker LED is flashing blue; Turn on Bluetooth on your device; Move speaker closer to device (within 10m). |
| No sound from speaker | Volume too low; Incorrect input mode; Not connected | Increase speaker and device volume; Switch to correct mode (Bluetooth/AUX/Micro-SD); Ensure successful Bluetooth connection. |
| TWS connection fails | Speakers too far apart; One speaker already paired to a device | Ensure both speakers are close and not connected to other devices before initiating TWS pairing. |
| Poor sound quality | Low battery; Obstructions between speaker and device; Source audio quality | Charge the speaker; Remove obstructions; Try a different audio source. |
10. User Tips
- Optimal Placement: For the best sound experience, especially with 3D surround sound, place the speaker in an open area. If using TWS, position the two speakers to create a stereo field.
- Battery Life: While rated for 12 hours, actual battery life can vary based on volume level and audio content. Lowering the volume can extend playback time.
- Connectivity: If you experience intermittent Bluetooth connection, try moving your paired device closer to the speaker or restarting both devices. The speaker also supports AUX input for a wired connection, which can be useful if Bluetooth is unavailable or preferred.
- Waterproof Seal: Always double-check that the rubber flap covering the charging port is fully sealed before exposing the speaker to water to maintain its IPX7 rating.
