Setup
1. Charging the Clipper
Before initial use, fully charge the hair clipper. The device features a 1500mAh battery and requires approximately 2 hours for a full charge, providing up to 180 minutes of usage time.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the clipper's charging port.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible power source (e.g., computer, laptop, USB wall adapter, or power bank).
- The LED display will indicate the charging status. A full charge is indicated when the battery icon shows full or the percentage reaches 100%.

2. Attaching Guide Combs
To adjust the haircut length, attach one of the provided guide combs:
- Select the desired comb length (1mm, 2mm, or 3mm).
- Align the comb with the clipper blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Locate the power switch on the side of the clipper. Press the switch to turn the clipper ON or OFF.

2. Hair Cutting
- Ensure hair is clean and dry before cutting.
- Attach the desired guide comb for the desired length. For a closer cut (0.5-1mm), the clipper can be used without a guide comb.
- Hold the clipper with the blades pointing downwards.
- Start cutting from the bottom of the head, moving upwards against the direction of hair growth.
- Use smooth, even strokes.
- Regularly check the hair length and adjust as needed.
3. Blade Features
The VGR V228 features stainless steel blades that are zero-gapped, extra thin, and sharp for precise cutting. The R-angle processing on the blades helps protect the skin from irritation during use.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Blades
The VGR V228 features a hollow cutter head design for easy cleaning. After each use:
- Turn off the clipper and remove any attached guide comb.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades and the clipper body.
