Heat Output Control:

The AD7750 offers various options for heat output control:

  • Manual heat charge control with integrated thermostat
  • Manual heat charge control with room and/or outdoor temperature feedback
  • Electronic heat charge control with room and/or outdoor temperature feedback

SAFETY CONDITIONS IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ON SAFETY OF USE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

The warranty conditions are different if the device is used for commercial purposes.

  1. Before using the product please read carefully and always comply with the following instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages due to any misuse.
  2. The product is only to be used indoors. Do not use the product for any purpose that is not compatible with its application.
  3. The applicable voltage is 220-240V, ~50Hz. For safety reasons it is not appropriate to connect multiple devices to one power outlet.
  4. Please be cautious when using close to children. Do not let the children to play with the product. Do not let children or people who do not know the device to use it without supervision.
  5. WARNING: This device may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the device, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety, or if they were instructed on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should not be carried out by children, unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are carried out under supervision.
  6. After you are finished using the product always remember to gently remove the plug from the power outlet holding the outlet with your hand. Do not use the device if the power cord is damaged.
  7. Never put the plug or the whole device into the water. Never expose the product to atmospheric conditions such as direct sun light or rain, etc.. Never use the product in humid conditions.
  8. Never use the product if it was dropped or damaged in any other way or if it does not work properly. Do not try to repair the defective product yourself because it can lead to electric shock. Always turn the damaged device to a professional service location in order to repair it. All the repairs can be done only by authorized service professionals. The repair that was done incorrectly can cause hazardous situations for the user.
  9. Never put the product on or close to the hot or warm surfaces or the kitchen appliances like the electric oven or gas burner.
  10. Never use the product close to combustibles.
  11. Never leave the product connected to the power source without supervision. Even when use is interrupted for a short time, turn it off from the network,and unplug the power.
  12. In order to provide additional protection, it is recommended to install a residue current device (RCD) in the power circuit, with a residual current rating not more than 30 mA. Contact a professional electrician in this matter.
  13. Never use this device close to water, e.g.: Under shower, in the bathtub, or above sink filled with water.
  14. If using the device in the bathroom after use remove the power plug from the socket, because water proximity presents risk, even if the device is turned off.
  15. Do not allow the device to get wet. If the device falls into water, immediately remove the power plug from the socket. If the device is powered, do not put hands in the water. Have the device checked by a qualified electrician before using it again.
  16. Do not touch the device or power adaptor with wet hands.
  17. Never use the device in high humidity rooms – bathroom, shower room, swimming pools etc. The humidity can cause short circuit, and effect in damaging the device.
  18. Do not connect the device to the automatic switching device, for example temperature controlling device or time switch.
  19. Flammable materials, for example, furniture, bedclothes, paper, clothes, and curtains should be kept at least one meter from the device.
  20. The heating surfaces can heat to a temperature of 60°C or higher. The device should be in a place that children and animals do not have access to.
  21. The device is not intended to be installed or used in vehicles.
  22. Some parts inside the device can be hot or cause sparking. Do not use the device in places, where gasoline, paints or other flammable materials are used or stored.
  23. The device must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
  24. Do not cover the device or put any objects on it while it is operating. Do not use the device to dry clothes.

    ADLER-AD-7750 -2000W-Convector-Heater-FIG (5)WARNING: In order to avoid overheating – do not cover the heater. The device is not to be covered with clothing, blankets and other textile products which could cause ignition.

WARNINGS:

  • Do not use this heater in small rooms where there are people who are unable to leave them by themselves unless constant supervision is ensured.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains or other flammable materials at least 1 m away from the heater air outlet.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Before using the heater, the wheels (7) supplied separately in the carton, must be fitted to the device. Position the device carefully upside down.
  2. Press wheel (7) to the hole – look at figure C. Next place the screw (9) in the round hole of the wheels’ base and screw it tightly with a screwdriver.
  3. Repeat for second wheel’s base.
  4. Turn the device the right way up.

 

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Do not use the heater unless both bases with wheels are correctly assembled.
  2. Do not place the device on carpets having a very high pile. Ensure that the device is not located close to curtains or furniture as this could create a fire hazard.
  3. Place the device on flat, even surface.
  4. Always unplug the device before moving it from one location to another.

WARNINGS:

  1. It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having not been used for a long period of time that the heating elements may emit some smell and fumes. The smell and fumes will disappear after short time of operation.
  2. 2.In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out this device must not be supplied through an external
    switching device such as a timer or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
    3.Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant
    supervision is provided.

OPERATION

  1. Place the device upright position on flat and stable surface with 1 meter distance to any other objects.
  2. Ensure the heating knob (5) is at off position and the thermostat is turned to off position (8). Plug in the device into a suitable socket.
  3. The device operated when both the heating knob (5) and the thermostat knob (4) are active. The indication lamp (3) does not light on red when plugged into the power socket, it is lighting on when the heater is heating.

Switch on the device in two steps:

  • 3a. Turn the heating knob (5) to position:
    I – means heating power 1000W or II – means heating power 2000W
  • 3b. Turn the thermostat knob (4) fully in a clockwise direction to the maximum setting. When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob (4) should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is heard to click off and the indication lamp (3) will turn off. After this the device will keep the air temperature in the room at the set temperature by switching on and off automatically. The red indication lamp (3) will switch on and off at intervals when the heater is heating.
    To switch off the device fully, turn the heating knob (5) to zero position and the thermostat knob (4) to off position (8), then the indication lamp (3) will turn off also.

SAFETY DEVICES

  • OVERHEAT PROTECTION This heater is protected with an over-heat protection cut-out facility that switches it off automatically if it overheats. Overheating can be caused by obstruction to the air in takes on the back of the heater or the grill on the front. If this occurs please disconnect the heater from the power socket and allow it to cool for 30 minutes. Remove any obstruction and turn the heater back on. The heater should operate normally. Should the problem persist contact your retail seller.
  • TIP-OVER SAFETY SWITCH The heater is fitted with a safety cut-out switch to switch the heater off if it is knocked over. If the heater is knocked over and the cut-out switch activates turn the heater off at the power outlet and take EXTREME care when standing the heater up right as it will still be hot. Inspect the heater for damage especially to the heating elements and supply cord. If any damage is visible do not operate the heater.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Make sure the device is not hot. Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. Keep the inlet and outlet grids clean. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping it with a damp cloth and buffing with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater. Do not immerse the device in water. Pack the device in bag to protect from dust. Store it in a cool, dry place until next use.
