Payment Methods:
Payment in advance is required for all purchases. Customers can make payments to the Company account kept at UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. Payment details for Brno and Ostrava branches are as follows:

Ensure to provide correct payment details to avoid delays. Settlement of balances on the customer non-cash account is done annually as of August 31.
Refund Process:
If a refund is needed, customers must send a signed request to the IKEA store where the goods were purchased via email or in writing. Additional costs related to the refund, including bank charges, may apply.
Personal Data Protection:
IKEA ensures the protection of personal data in compliance with the Office for Personal Data Protection. Customer data is used for contractual purposes and satisfaction surveys, stored for 1 year, and can be accessed for inquiries or rights exercise via email.

We accept all major credit cards, mobile payments like Apple Pay or Google Pay. We also accept cash for instant payments in our stores. But we know that sometimes, you need help bringing your dreams to life. That’s why we offer financial services and value cards, such as the IKEA for business payment card, IKEA Home card and IKEA Gift & Refund cards, which you can use when shopping in store. Our online payment options are simple and secure. We accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard and American Express), Google Pay and Apple Pay. You can also use an IKEA Gift & Refund card, PayPal, pre-paid cards such One4all gift cards or Love2shop Mastercards, IKEA Financial services or an IKEA for Business payment card to complete your purchase. - Paying on the IKEA app

You can use an IKEA Gift card’s value in full or as partial payment towards something you really love. Just scan or enter the card details by selecting ‘pay with gift card’ when prompted at checkout.
IKEA Refund card
If you’ve been given an IKEA Refund card, you can use it to pay in store or online when you find the thing you really want. Just scan or enter the card details by selecting ‘pay with gift card’ when prompted at checkout.
Financial services
With our financial services, there’s always more than one way to pay. If you’re ready to make your house a home but need a helping hand, our finance services offer a more flexible way to pay with an IKEA payment plan.
IKEA Business payment card
Furnishing an empire? Sign up for IKEA Business and you’ll receive an IKEA Business payment card to use when making purchases over the phone, via email, in store or online. Just swipe or provide your card details when prompted at checkout.
Mobile payments
We accept the following mobile payment methods:
- Google Pay (in store, IKEA.com and on the IKEA app)
- Apple Pay (in store, online and on the IKEA app)
- Samsung Pay (in store)
PayPal
Make secure payments with PayPal when shopping online or on the IKEA app.
Prepaid gift cards
- We accept Prepaid Gift Cards loaded on Visa and MasterCard cards.
- These include One4all pre-paid cards and Love2shop Mastercard, which can be used in our IKEA stores and on IKEA.com. Subject to the terms & conditions issued by One4all.
- One4all pre-paid cards and Love2shop Mastercards are similar to a prepaid Visa/MasterCard debit card and should be selected as a Credit/Debit card during checkout. When entering the payment details, use your name in the Cardholder field, and your name and address as the billing details. As the One4all or Love2Shop cards act as payment cards, it’s impossible to use them as partial payment alongside another payment card. It can be used, however, with IKEA gift and refund cards.
- We suggest keeping your gift card if you decide to return an item from the order. The refund for returned items will be processed back onto the One4all or Love2Shop card.

If you have checked the details you have entered and your billing address details match with those your card is registered to, then you should contact your card issuer or bank to find out why the transaction has been declined. We will only decline the transaction on the advice of the issuing bank, and we are unable to provide any details or reasons for this happening.
If you are purchasing goods in an IKEA Store you are entitled to claim a VAT refund when you are:
- Business person or company who is not resident in the UK.
- Non-EU and non-UK residents (exports from Northern Ireland only).
You are not entitled to claim a VAT refund when you are:
- A visitor who is not resident in the UK and exporting goods for personal (non-commercial) use. Export of goods for personal (non-commercial) use can be zero-rated if exported from Northern Ireland.
- A private individual who is resident in the UK.
Non-UK resident business person or company (Great Britain only)
If you are exporting purchases outside the UK you may be entitled to a VAT refund. If you have any questions relating to the repayment of VAT, please contact our VAT Refund team by email at VATRefunds@ikea.com with the following information:
- Order confirmation or receipt
- Bill of lading and Certificate of shipment stating IKEA order or receipt number
- Business or company registration documents translated and signed by a person of a recognised profession
- Utility bill sent to your business non-UK address translated and signed by a person of a recognised profession
Non-EU and non-UK residents (Northern Ireland only)
If you are exporting purchases outside the UK you may be entitled to a VAT refund. If you are shipping the goods as freight please email VATRefunds@ikea.com. If you are taking the goods with you as onboard luggage, you must request a ‘TaxFreeWorldwide’ receipt.
If you have any questions relating to the repayment of VAT, please contact our VAT Refund team by email at VATRefunds@ikea.com. You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Order confirmation or receipt
- Utility bill for your non-UK, non-EU address
- Bill of lading and Certificate of shipment stating IKEA order or receipt number
- Details of yourself including but not limited to; contact numbers, full name, full address, etc.
The goods must be exported within 3 months of the date of your purchases and IKEA must be in receipt of required information within 3 months of the date of your purchases to refund your VAT.
FAQ
Do you offer finance options or interest-free credit?
Yes, we offer interest-free credit (0% APR Representative) from £99 to £15,000 when you shop in-store or at one of our order and collection point, when you shop online or through our online planning appointments. Our Interest-free credit is available over different time periods, depending on how much you borrow:

Up to a maximum limit of £15,000 depending on what term you choose. You can apply for finance on all IKEA products (except IKEA Food) and also include your delivery/collection or kitchen installation.
What is the IKEA Home Card?
The IKEA Home card was a payment card previously offered by IKEA. Existing holders may still use their cards in-store. The card was issued by IKANO Financial Services. If you have any questions about your card, please contact IKANO Customer Service at 0333 155 4600.
- Weekdays 8.30am – 9.00pm
- Saturdays 8.30am – 8.30pm
- Sundays 10.00am – 1.00pm
The IKEA Home card cannot be used online.
How do I make a payment on the website?
