    Question

How do I turn on the FM radio on my Bluedio T-Elf 2 earbuds?

    Answer

Based on the official user manual for the Bluedio T-Elf 2, these earbuds do not have a built-in FM radio tuner. The device is designed to play audio via Bluetooth from a connected smartphone, tablet, or computer.

To listen to FM radio using your Bluedio T-Elf 2, you will need to:

    • Connect the earbuds to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
    • Open a radio application (such as TuneIn Radio or a local station's app) or use your phone's built-in radio app if it supports Bluetooth output.
    • Play the radio station from your phone, and the audio will stream to your earbuds.

Please note that many smartphones require wired headphones to act as an antenna for their internal FM chips; if your phone requires this, you may need to use a third-party internet radio app instead.

    Question

How do I know if both earbuds are fully charged, and can I charge the case with the earbuds inside?

    Answer

Yes, you can and should charge the charging box with the earphones inside. According to the manual, the earphones charge whenever they are placed inside the box and the cover is closed.

To ensure both earbuds are charging correctly, please check the following:

    • Remove Insulation: Ensure you have removed the clear plastic insulation sheets from the charging contacts of both earphones. If these are still attached, the earbuds will not charge.
    • Charging Indicators: When the earphones are charging inside the case, a blue light will show on the charging case. This light turns off once they are fully charged.
    • Case Charging: When charging the box itself, a green light will stay on and will turn off once the box is fully charged. If you see a red light flashing on the box, it means the case has low power and needs to be plugged in.

If one earbud remains uncharged or disconnected, the manual suggests a reset: Turn off your phone's Bluetooth, long-press the touch buttons on both earphones to turn them on, then click each earphone three times to clear pairing records. Place them back in the box, close the lid, and then try pairing again.

    Question

Why is my left earbud not working or charging even though it is new?

    Answer

It is common for one earbud to lose connection or fail to charge due to a pairing error or a connection issue with the charging pins. Please try the following troubleshooting steps provided in the Bluedio T-Elf 2 manual:

    • Check for Insulation: Ensure the charging insulation sheet has been completely removed from the earbud's charging contacts.
    • Clean the Contacts: Use a dry cotton swab to gently clean the charging pins inside the case and the contacts on the left earbud to ensure they are making a solid connection.
    • Reset the Earbuds:
      1. Turn off Bluetooth on your cellphone.
      2. Long press the touch buttons to turn on both the left and right earbuds separately.
      3. Quickly tap the touch button three times on both the left and right earbuds. They should automatically shut down and clear their pairing records.
      4. Put both earbuds back into the charging box and close the cover.
      5. Reopen the box, wait for the LED lights to flash, and then try pairing with your phone again by selecting 'T Elf 2'.

If the light still does not turn on when placed in the case after cleaning, the unit may be defective. You can contact Bluedio support at aftersales@bluedio.com.
