8BitDo Pro2-8 Bluetooth Gamepad
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
- Press start to turn on the controller
- hold the start button for 3 seconds to turn off the controller
Switch
* NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, and notification LED are not supported, nor can the system be waken up wirelessly.
* the status LED indicates the number of players, st LED on for the first player, the 1st and 2nd LEDs on for the second player, up to 8 players maximum.
Bluetooth connection
- turn the mode switch to S.
- press start to turn on the controller. LED starts to rotate from left to right.
- hold pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode. LED stops blinking for a short moment then starts to rotate again. (this is required for the very first time only)
- go to your Switch Home Page to click on Controllers, then click on Change Grip/Order
- LED becomes solid when the connection is successful.
Wired connection
please ensure the [Pro Controller Wired Communication] is enabled.
- turn the mode switch to S.
- connect the controller to the USB port of your Switch dock, wait till the controller is successfully \recognized by your Switch to play.
Windows
* required system: Windows 10 (1903) or above.
Bluetooth connection
- turn the mode switch to X.
- press start to turn on the controller, the 1st and 2nd LEDs start to blink.
- press pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode. LED starts to rotate from left to right. (this is required for the very first time only)
- go to your Windows device’s Bluetooth and turn it on, pair with [BitDo Pro 2], LED becomes solid when connection is successful.
Wired connection
- turn the mode switch to X.
- connect the controller to the USB port of your Windows device, wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Windows device to play.
Android
* required system: Android 9.0 or above
Bluetooth connection
- turn the mode switch to D.
- press start to turn on the controller, the 1st LED starts to blink.
- hold pair button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode. The LED starts to rotate from left to right. (this is required for the very first time only)
- go to your Android device’s Bluetooth setting, pair with [8BitDo Pro 2], LED becomes solid when the connection is successful.
Wired connection
* OTG support is required on your Android device, please contact your manufacturer for more information.
- turn the mode switch to D
- connect the controller to the USB port of your Android device, wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Windows device to play.

Bluetooth connection

- go to your Apple device’s Bluetooth setting and turn it on, pair with [8BitDo Pro 21, LED becomes solid when connection is successful.
Wired connection
* USB wired connection is only available for macOS or iPadOS devices with USB-C ports.
- turn the mode switch to D.
- connect the controller to the USB port of your Apple device, wait till the controller is successfully recognized by your Apple device to play.
Turbo function
- The supported buttons for turbo: A, B, X, Y, L, R, L3, R3.
- The turbo settings will not be saved permanently and will revert to default settings after the controller is \powered off or disconnected.
- The turbo function is not available when connected to the Switch.
Turbo Mode
- Turn on: Hold the button you would like to assign the turbo functionality, then press the Star Button to enable the Turbo Mode; the home LED will blink rapidly.
- Turn off: Hold the button you would like to deactivate the turbo functionality, then press the Star Button to disable the Turbo Mode; the home LED will turn off.
Auto Turbo Mode
- Turn on: Hold the button you would like to assign the turbo functionality, then press the Star Button twice to enable the Auto Turbo Mode; the home LED will blink rapidly.
- Turn off: Hold the button you would like to deactivate the turbo functionality, then press the Star Button\ to disable the Auto Turbo Mode; the home LED will turn off.
Battery
