Application Download Instructions

Software Loading Instructions

2. Open the C4 Link2 Programmer by double-clicking its icon. The application will automatically update to the latest version if connected to the internet. Ensure the application is up to date before proceeding.

   • Open (1) – Controller Software.

   • Khetha Imoto ozoyilayishela isofthiwe.

4. Select the processor to update using the dropdown menu. Processors can be updated in any order:
   • MR A: UMNU MCUA
   • MR B: MR MCUB
   • I-SRU A: I-CT ne-COP MCUA
   • I-SRU B: I-CT ne-COP MCUB
   • Isikhuphukeli/Ukunwetshwa: Ibhodi lokunyuka/lokwandisa
   • Izixhumanisi zeprosesa zingatholakala ebhodini.
5. Start the software loading process by clicking the Start button.

7. Click Edit to continue loading software for the remaining processors and follow the previous steps.
8. Once all software uploads are complete, reconnect the group terminals and power cycle the controller.
9. Verify the software version under Main Menu | About | Vers.

11. Default to factory settings by navigating to Main Menu | Setup | Miscellaneous | Default | Default Factory.

Restoring a Bricked Processor

In the event of a bricked processor, follow the steps below to restore functionality:

1. Locate the two jumpers positioned beneath the LCD display – one jumper corresponds to each processor.
2. Connect the jumper associated with the affected (bricked) processor to establish communication.
3. Power cycle the board.
4. Once power is restored, program the processor using a release file that already includes a bootloader.
5. Start the application once programming is complete.
6. Remove the jumper used for recovery.
7. Power cycle the board again to finalize the restoration.
