- This device is intended for non-invasive measurement and monitoring of arterial blood pressure in adults. It is not intended for use on infants or children.
- Do not use this device for diagnostic purposes. Always consult a healthcare professional for interpretation of blood pressure readings.

4. Setha
4.1 Ukufakwa kwebhethri
1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the device.
2. Insert four (4) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

4.2 Cuff Attachment
1. Connect the air tube of the cuff to the air jack on the side of the blood pressure monitor unit.
2. Ensure the cuff is suitable for your arm circumference (M-L size: 22-42 cm).
3. Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above the elbow joint. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm.
4. The bottom edge of the cuff should be above the elbow. The artery mark on the cuff should be positioned over your brachial artery (on the inside of your arm).

- Ensure the cuff is correctly attached to your arm and the air tube is connected to the monitor.

- Remain still and do not talk during the inflation and measurement process. The Rapid Tech - Comfort Experience technology will measure during inflation.
- Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA), and pulse (Pul/min) readings will be displayed on the screen.
- Cindezela inkinobho QALA/YIMA button again to turn off the device, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

5.3 Understanding Readings
- I-SYS (Ukucindezela kwe-Systolic): The highest pressure in the arteries when the heart beats.
- I-DIA (Ukucindezela kwe-Diastolic): The lowest pressure in the arteries when the heart rests between beats.
- Pul/min (Pulse Rate): The number of heartbeats per minute.
- Isitholi Sokushaya Kwenhliziyo Esingavamile: If an irregular heartbeat is detected, a corresponding symbol will appear on the display. Consult your doctor if this symbol appears frequently.
- Arm Movement Sensor: An icon will appear if excessive arm movement is detected during measurement, indicating a potentially inaccurate reading.
5.4 Umsebenzi Wememori
The ClearRAPID monitor can store up to 200 readings, organized into two user areas (A and B), or for morning and evening measurements. It also automatically calculates the average of the last 3 readings.
- To access stored readings, press the I-MEM inkinobho.
- Sebenzisa i- SET button to switch between user areas (A/B) or to view different stored readings.
- The average of the last 3 readings will be displayed first when accessing the memory.
