Setha
1. Ukuqaqa nokubeka
Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Place the JVC HR-XVC15 on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

The JVC HR-XVC15 offers several options for connecting to your television. Choose the connection type that provides the best quality supported by your TV.

- Component Video (Progressive Scan): For the highest quality video, connect the red (Pr), blue (Pb), and green (Y) component video cables from the unit's "COMPONENT/PROGRESSIVE SCAN VIDEO OUT" to the corresponding inputs on your TV. Connect separate audio cables (red for R, white for L) from the "AUDIO OUT" section to your TV's audio inputs.
- RCA Video/Audio: Connect a yellow RCA video cable from the unit's "DVD/VCR OUT" (Video) to your TV's video input. Connect red (R) and white (L) RCA audio cables from the unit's "DVD/VCR OUT" (Audio) to your TV's audio inputs.
- I-Coaxial Digital Audio: For digital audio output, connect a coaxial digital audio cable from the unit's "COAXIAL" output to a compatible input on your audio receiver or TV.
- VCR Line In: To connect an external device for recording to VHS, use the "VCR IN LINE 1" (Audio L/R and Video) ports.

4. VHS Playback

This feature allows for easy transfer of VHS content to a recordable DVD.
- Insert a recordable DVD (DVD-R/W or DVD+R/W) into the DVD tray.
- Insert the VHS tape you wish to record into the VCR slot.
- Qinisekisa ukuthi iyunithi ikumodi ye-VCR.
- Cindezela inkinobho IREKHODI button. The unit will begin playing the VHS tape and simultaneously recording it to the DVD.
