It is also compatible with Generac transfer switches model numbers 6376, 6377, 6378, 6379, and 6382.

- Position Generator: Place your portable generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, away from windows, doors, and vents to prevent carbon monoxide accumulation.
- Xhuma Intambo Yamandla: Open the spring-loaded flip lid cover on the Generac 6346 Power Inlet Box. Connect a compatible Generac power cord (NEMA L14-30 configuration) from your 7500-Watt maximum generator to the inlet box. Ensure the connection is firm.
- Qala i-Generator: Follow your generator's manufacturer instructions to start it. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to stabilize.
- Transfer Power: Go to your indoor transfer switch and follow its instructions to safely transfer power from the utility to the generator.
- Gada Umthwalo: Do not exceed the generator's rated wattage (7500 Watts maximum for this inlet box).
- Vala shaqa: When utility power is restored, reverse the transfer switch procedure to switch back to utility power. Then, shut down your generator according to its manual and disconnect the power cord from the inlet box. Close the flip lid cover.
