Specifications

The Zendure Smart Meter CT is an energy meter and IoT device within Zendure’s ecosystem. It allows users to monitor energy consumption, track solar panel energy production, and control the SolarFlow output to household appliances simultaneously. The Zendure Smart Meter CT can measure the current and voltage of two single phase circuits, such as common 120V circuits. However, it does not support parallel feed configurations or comprehensive three-phase monitoring. In homes with threephase electricity systems, the Zendure Smart Meter CT can only monitor two-phase

Step 2

Mount the Smart Meter CT.

Install the Smart Meter CT inside or outside the panel using the provided mounting kit.ZENDURE-B0CW17PQPP-Smart-Meter-CT-fig (5)

Step 3

Clamp the sensors.

Clamp the sensors onto the two mains to gain an overview of the consumption of both phases.ZENDURE-B0CW17PQPP-Smart-Meter-CT-fig (6)

You can also clamp the sensors onto the 120V circuits you wish to measure. It is recommended to select branch circuits that are on the same phase as the socket powering the meterZENDURE-B0CW17PQPP-Smart-Meter-CT-fig (7)

Step 4

Power the meter and check the REV Indicator. Plug the power harness securely into the Smart Meter’s AC power input connection until fully inserted, then connect the plug to a 120V power outlet and turn on the main breaker.
Next, plug the two sensor connectors into the Smart Meter. Ensure no current is flowing back to the grid. Plug the sensor into the CT1 port, and check if the REV Indicator lights up red. If it does, adjust the direction of the sensor clamp. Then, plug the second sensor into the CT2 port and repeat the check.ZENDURE-B0CW17PQPP-Smart-Meter-CT-fig (8)

Step 5

Bind smart meter to the App and activate the Smart CT Mode. Please read the Zendure app user guide download the app using the QR code above or by visiting https://zendure.com/pages/download-center. Bind the Smart Meter CT to the Zendure App and update the firmware to the latest version

To use the Smart Meter CT with SolarFlow in Smart CT mode, clamp the sensor onto the same main where the SolarFlow is connected to. Also, ensure both the Smart Meter CT and SolarFlow are on the same phase. To verify if the two devices and sensor are on the same phase, increase the SolarFlow output and observe which monitored main shows a corresponding decrease in consumption. Bind SolarFlow to that phase and activate Smart CT Mode in the Zendure App.
