Can it work without Alexa Echo?

Answer:

No, Smart plug requires Echo, including: Echo (2nd Gen and newer), Echo Dot (2nd Gen and newer), Echo Plus, Echo Show, Echo Studio, and more. [Only the 1st Gen Echo and 1st Echo Dot are not supported]

How to pair plugs?

Answer:

Alexa Echo voice pairing, no app required.

Step 1
Plug your smart plug into a power outlet.

Step 2
Pairing mode: Blue LED blinking If not, press and hold the button for 8 seconds to reset the plug to pairing mode.

Step 3
Say to the Echo: ” Alexa, discover device.• (No APP is required in this process.)

What app can be used to control smart plugs?

Answer: “Amazon Alexa” App.

• After setup, the plug status will appear in the Alexa App.
• You can control lights, fans and appliances with your voice and in the Alexa App remote control, group control, schedule, timer, rename and other functions.

How to reset your smart plug?

Answer:

Step 1: Press and hold the button on the side of the plug for 5 seconds.
Step 2: Release the button once you see the blue LED light.
Step 3: A blue LED blinks when reset is complete. The LED flashing, enter paring mode.

What can I do if the smart plug doesn’t work?

Answer:

Please try the following steps.

Step 1: Restart your device first to see if it resolves the problem. To restart, unplug the device from the outlet and plug it back in.
Step 2: If you have restarted your device and it still isn’t working, reset your Smart Plug.
Step 3: Please contact the service team if it still doesn’t work.

How does it work under 5G WiFi network?

Answer:

The smart plug works under 5G network via Alexa Echo.

What is its signal range?

Answer:

The signal can reach 30 feet in an open environment. Obstacles such as walls or doors will reduce the distance, but the signal range can be expanded through BLE mesh.

How to extend range?

Answer:

1. BLE Mesh plug-to-plug connection can extend your voice control capabilities beyond signal dead zones, each BLE Mesh plug act as its own hub beyond the Echo.
2. If the paired plug is disconnected, set up another plug between the plug and echo, and the disconnected plug can restore connection.

How to set timer?

Answer:

Voice command settings: You can set a timer with Alexa Echo using voice commands.

For example: “Alexa, turn on the first plug at 4:15 pm.”

Answer:

Not supported, works with Alexa only.

Can it work if only Alexa App but without Alexa Echo device?

No, required Alexa Echo as hub.

No, It is a Bluetooth low energy mesh smart plug(BLE Mesh Smart Plug).
