Getting Started
To begin using the Wireless Diagnostics Module:
- Ensure the vehicle is within the voltage range of +9~+36V DC.
- Connect the module to the vehicle using either a wireless or wired connection.
Vehicle Connection
There are two methods to connect the module to the vehicle:
- Wireless Connection: Follow the instructions for wireless pairing.
- Wired Connection: Use the provided wiring harness to establish a wired connection.
Precautions for Diagnosis
- Ensure the vehicle’s operating voltage is within the specified range.
- Follow specific prompts and conditions when testing special functions.
- If abnormal test data, locate and select the ECU for the model on the nameplate.
- If a vehicle type or system is not found, update the diagnostic software or contact XTOOL technical support.

Getting Started
Vehicle Connection
Wireless Connection
- Turn on the tablet
- Connect the DB15 connector of the main cable to the VCI box
- Connect the OBDII-16 connector to the DB15 connector of the main cable, then plug the connector into the vehicle’s DLC port
- When the VCI box gets powered on, the tablet will automatically search for it and make a WiFi connection
- Your tablet is now ready
Wired Connection
- 1. Connect DB15 connector to VCI Box; connect OBDII-16 connector to vehicle’s DLC port.
- 2. Connect the USB connector to the VCI Box; connect the Type-C connector to the tablet.
