Specific Operating Conditions

  1. This product is a high-performance printer mainboard (Mainboard Module), specifically designed for printer equipment. The module integrates wireless communication functionality (Wi-Fi) and is intended to serve as a core component installed inside the printer, enabling data transmission and device control with a host computer. It supports communication with the host via USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi interfaces to receive print data and execute printing tasks.
  2.  Professional Use Limitation: This module has professional user condition restrictions. The host product manufacturer must clearly state the warning “This product is intended for professional users only” in the product manual.
  3.  Installation and Operating Instructions:
    1. Antenna installation: Remove the nut from the antenna, insert the metal end of the antenna through the mounting hole on the main control board bracket, and then reinstall the nut onto the antenna. Weihai-Printer-Mainboard-Module- (2)
    2. Route the antenna through the designated hole as shown in the diagram and plug it into the main control board. Weihai-Printer-Mainboard-Module- (3)
    3. Mount the main board onto the bracket and secure it using an electric screwdriver to install the following four screws (torque setting: 7 ± 0.5 kgf·cm). Weihai-Printer-Mainboard-Module- (4)
    4. Attach the wireless communication module onto the metal end of the antenna. Weihai-Printer-Mainboard-Module- (5)
    5. Plug the printhead harness connector into the main board, and gently bend the adapter cable at the connection end.. Weihai-Printer-Mainboard-Module- (6)
    6. Connect the printhead cable as illustrated. Weihai-Printer-Mainboard-Module- (7)
  4. Mainboard Usage Instructions
After completing the above installation steps, toggle the rocker switch on the mainboard—the printer’s indicator light will illuminate brightly.
The printer will automatically search for the pre-configured end-customer Wi-Fi SSID and connect to it. End users may also use the printer’s accompanying web-based utility tool to modify the Wi-Fi SSID to which the printer should automatically connect.
Print jobs are sent to the printer via the Wi-Fi interface, and the printer executes the printing tasks accordingly.
  5. Operating temperature: 5-45 ℃

Host Product Integration Labeling Instructions

  1.  If the FCC Identifier (FCC ID) cannot be clearly seen after the module is installed inside the equipment, a label indicating the contained module must be affixed to the exterior of the equipment. The label format must follow “Contains FCC ID: 2BTZASRN” , complying with FCC KDB guidance 784748 labeling specifications.
  2. End-user equipment must comply with the labeling requirements of §15.19. For special equipment labeling rules, please refer to §2.925, §15.19(a)(5), and related KDB documents; electronic labels must comply with §2.935 requirements.

Additional Test Requirements

Test Mode and Additional Test Requirements

  1. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) integrator must ensure there are no instructions for end-users to manually remove or install this module.

(I) Class B Device Notice:

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

 Class A Device Notice:

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
