4.8 Charging:.
The device charges when connected to an adapter or powered computer (via Type-C), whether powered on or off.
Moderate heating during charging is normal. For fastest charging, power off the device.

4.10 Do not format the recorder directly on a computer, as this may alter the memory card’s file system. Use “cut” or “delete” functions to clear content instead.

- Photo/Menu Button
-In the main interface – Short press the Photo/Menu button to capture an image. Long press the Photo/Menu button to enter menu mode.

Press and hold the whistle (SOS) button to activate the buzzer; release to stop.
Press and hold the whistle (SOS) button for 10 seconds to enable unmanned distress mode (automatic SOS signaling). - Light/OK Button
– Short press (in spotlight mode) cycles through 7 modes: Full-intensity spotlight 70% brightness 30% brightness Fast strobe → SOS signal → Off.
Note: After 10 seconds in any mode, a single short press instantly turns off the light.
Long press toggles the floodlight: First long press: Activates floodlight. Second long press: Deactivates floodlight.

7.1. Wefoka_F85 Multi-functional Cruise Camera Flashlight Functions.
BASIC OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
8.1. Power On/Off
To power on: When the device is off, press and hold the Power/Back button for 3 seconds. The recorder will boot up, display the startup screen, and enter standby mode with real-time preview active.
In standby mode, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power off the recorder.
8.2. Flashlight Function
The flashlight control operates independently of the recorder; the flashlight function can be activated via the dedicated button regardless of whether the recorder is powered on.
In High Beam Mode, briefly press the light button within a short time to cycle through the following 7 modes:
Strong Spotlight Weaker Spotlight (70% brightness) → Even Weaker Spotlight (30% brightness) → Rapid Flash SOS Flash Signal → Off.
In this mode, pressing the light button again after a 10-second interval will directly turn off the light.
In Low Beam Mode, press and hold the light button to toggle the low beam on or off. When activated, all three low-beam lamps illuminate simultaneously, providing fill lighting for nearby areas.
Note: To ensure safety, the flashlight function is disabled and cannot be activated while in USB Drive Mode.
8.3. Buzzer Alarm Function
When the Alarm Button is pressed, the device buzzer emits a piercing alarm sound, which stops upon button release.
If pressed and held for over 10 seconds, the buzzer will produce six rapid beeps, indicating activation of rescue Mode:
8.3.1. The flashlight enters rescue status with cyclic alarm pattern:
30-second continuous alarm 3-minute pause (during which three soft “di-di-di” beeps occur every 10 seconds) → repeats.
8.3.2. Simultaneously, the high beam automatically switches to SOS flash signal. This mode persists until:
a) Low battery shutdown occurs, or
b) Manual exit by pressing either the Alarm Button or Light Button once.
8.4. Video Recording Function
In standby preview interface, briefly press the video recording button once to initiate recording and document the scene; during recording, press the same button again to stop and save the video file.
When powered off, press and hold the video recording button to activate the One-Touch Recording function. The recorder will immediately power on and automatically enter recording mode.
8.5. Priority Marking & Video Protection Function
During video recording, press and hold the video recording button to activate priority marking. A yellow five-pointed star icon will appear in the lower-right corner of the screen, indicating the current recording file is protected with priority marking. Priority-marked files are distinguished from regular recordings by “IMP” filename prefixes.
Note: Priority-marked recordings are designated as critical files. When loop recording is enabled, these protected files cannot be overwritten by new recordings.
8.6. Photo Capture Function
In the photo preview interface, briefly press the photo capture button to take photos; images will be captured at the resolution configured in the menu settings.
During video recording, pressing the photo capture button will capture a snapshot. The resolution is fixed at 1920×1080.
8.7. Charging Indicator/Status Indicator
Charging Indicator: The blue light remains steadily illuminated during charging and automatically turns off when charging is complete.
Power Indicator: When powered on, the green light remains steadily illuminated. During video recording or photo capture (when the corresponding activity indicators activate), the power indicator synchronously turns off.
Recording Indicator: The red light flashes during video recording.
Photo Indicator: The red light illuminates during photo capture and automatically. turns off upon completion.
8.8. File Management
Connect the recorder to a computer via USB cable. If password protection is enabled, you must enter the password on the device before establishing the connection. The default password is “000000”, which can be modified through the device menu settings.
Video recordings and photo files are stored within the DCIM folder under their respective PHOTO and VIDEO subfolders.
Video recordings are saved in *.MP4 format; photos are saved in *.JPG format.
When in the standby interface after powering on, press and hold the Photo (M) Button to enter Menu Mode. Use the Up/Down Buttons to navigate through selectable settings. Press the OK Button to confirm your selection and return to the upper-level menu. Press the Video Recording Button to exit the menu and return to the main interface..
- Video Resolution
Options include six resolutions: 480P, 720P, 1080P, 1296P, and 2K, with 1080P set as the default. - Photo Resolution
Options include eight resolutions: 4MP, 8MP, 12MP, 26MP, 34MP, 40MP, 48MP, and 58MP, with 12MP set as the default. Press the OK Button to confirm your selection. - Burst Shooting Function
Options include four settings: Off, 3, 5, and 10, with Off set as the default. - Pre-Recording Function
Options: On or Off (default: Off). If enabled, the device enters Pre-Recording State upon returning to the main interface, indicated by a flashing blue dot in the upper-left corner. Pre-recorded footage is only saved with “PRE_” filename prefixes when the Video Recording Button is pressed, capturing critical moments before and after triggering. The pre-recording duration is randomized within a 1-minute limit. - Time-Lapse Recording Function
Options include five settings: Off, 5 Seconds, 30 Seconds, 1 Minute, and 5 Minutes (default: Off). When enabled, the device will continue recording for the preset duration after receiving a stop command before ending the video recording. - Super Storage Function
Options: On or Off (default: Off). When enabled, video recordings will reduce memory card storage consumption and increase storage duration by approximately 30%, at the cost of lower image quality. - Loop Recording Function
When enabled, this function will automatically overwrite older recordings when storage space is low, excluding priority-marked videos. Default setting: Off. - Segmented Recording Function
Segmented Recording Duration: Options include six durations: 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and 30 minutes, with 5 minutes set as the default. - Motion Detection Function
Motion Detection Function: When enabled in standby mode, the device automatically initiates 20-second video recording upon detecting movement within the camera’s field of view. If no further movement is detected during the recording period, the device will stop recording. Options: On or Off (default: Off). - Screen Saver Function
Auto Screen-Off Function: When enabled, the screen will automatically turn off after the preset time and can be reactivated by pressing any button. Options: Off, 30 Seconds, 1 Minute, 2 Minutes, 5 Minutes (default: 30 Seconds). - Auto Power-Off Function
Auto Power-Off Function: Options include Off, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 15 Minutes, and 30 Minutes (default: 5 Minutes). The device will automatically power off after the preset duration of inactivity. - Audio Alert Function
Options include On or Off (default: On). - Exposure Compensation Function
Brightness Adjustment Function: Adjustable from 3 to +3 (default: 0). - Video Audio
Audio Recording: Synchronizes audio with video recordings. Options: On or Off (default: On). - Volume Adjustment Function
Options include three levels: Low, Medium, and High (default: High). - Vehicle Mode
Vehicle Mode: When enabled, the device is powered via the vehicle’s USB port. It automatically powers on and initiates recording mode upon ignition, then saves recordings and powers off after the engine stops. Options: On or Off (default: Off). - Virus Firewall
Virus Firewall: When enabled, this function prevents writing data to the TF card when connected to a computer for data access, effectively blocking potential computer virus infections. Options: On or Off (default: Off). - Password Protection Function
Password Protection Function: When enabled, password authentication is required to perform sensitive operations including modifying device ID, officer ID, date/time settings, formatting storage, and restoring factory defaults. Connecting to a computer also requires password verification. Default setting: Off. - Change Password Function
The default password is “000000”. You must enter the old password before setting a new one. - Stealth Mode
When enabled, all system operations will occur without auditory cues or visual indicators. Options: On or Off (default: Off). - Device ID
This option allows you to modify the 7-digit device ID of the unit. - User ID
This option allows you to modify the 6-digit user identification number. - Language Settings
Language Settings: Options include Simplified Chinese (zh-CN), Traditional Chinese (zh-TW), and English (en). Default: English (en). - Voice Announcement Function
Voice Announcement Function: Options include On or Off (default: Off). When enabled, voice prompts will activate for specific operations. - WIFI
Wi-Fi & App Download Settings: Options include On, Off, and App Download QR Code. This menu allows you to enable/disable Wi-Fi and generate a QR code for app download connectivity. - Date/Time Settings
