Warmtech Vertical Bar HTR – Round
Warning
Please read these instructions carefully. Warmtech Heating Systems cannot be held responsible if the installation and use of the towel rail is not carried out in accordance with the instructions given below or for materials not supplied by Warmtech Heating Systems.
Electrical Connections
The towel rail must be wired by a registered electrician. An isolating switch must be positioned near the towel rail. If the supply cord is damaged, the entire towel rail must be returned to Warmtech Heating Systems.

Please Note
- This appliance must be installed as prescribed by the relevant wiring rules and regulations, including the regulations covering installation of appliances and accessories in ‘wet areas’ such as bathrooms, showers, and laundries. Installations should be in accordance with AS/NZS 3000:2007.
- The heated towel rail should be mounted vertically with the cord exiting from the base; it should be positioned at least 600mm above the floor.
Switch Off the Main Power
You will be installing the Vertical rail as part of a high voltage mains electrical circuit. To ensure your safety and to protect the Vertical rail, switch off the mains power before you begin the installation.
Install the Transformer
The transformer is to be installed in the ceiling or the wall cavity no further than 2m from the rail and needs to be connected to the mains power supply in accordance with current local building regulations. If mounting in the wall cavity, the transformer must be behind an access plate or a timer/switch to enable access and the transformer must have ventilation.
Install Semicircle Fixed Part and Mushroom
- Using the 6mm drill bit, wall plugs, and screws, screw the round hole of the semicircle fixed part into the appropriate location. Thread the electrical wiring through the semicircle. Pull the wire through and attach to the wire connection on the individual bar. Use the 2pcs of the bracket fixing screws to connect the semicircle fixing part and top leg.
- Using the 6mm drill bit, wall plugs, and screws, secure the mushroom for the bottom leg to the wall at the bottom leg position of the vertical bar. Position the legs over the mushroom and tighten using grub screws into the bottom leg of the individual bar.
Safety Information
- This appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
- Because this appliance gets hot, young children and infirm people should be closely supervised when near the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Be aware that the towel rail will get slightly hotter than normal during warmer weather and when insulated by towels.
- Install the towel rail at least 100 mm away from all permanent objects in the surrounding area.
- Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
- The rail should NOT be used for anything other than its intended use.
- It would be very dangerous to put the towels or anything else which has been in contact with hazardous liquids on this towel rail.
- The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking the appliance. Use this appliance only on the voltage specified on the instruction.
- Electrical work should only ever be done by authorized persons.
- DO NOT immerse the towel rail in any liquid.
- Make sure the supply cord never touches heated surfaces.
- If the electrical cord or connection is damaged DO NOT attempt to repair, please contact the supplier.
Warning
In order to avoid a hazard for very young children, this appliance should be installed so that the heated rail is at least 600mm above the floor. Do not overload the transformer provided.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The towel rail must be wired by a registered electrician. An isolating switch must be positioned near the towel rail. If the supply cord is damaged the entire towel rail must be returned to Warmtech Heating Systems.
MOUNTING SYSTEM

PLEASE NOTE
This appliance must be installed as prescribed by the relevant wiring rules and regulations, including the regulations covering the installation of appliances and accessories in ‘wet areas’ such as bathrooms, showers and laundries. Installations should be in accordance with AS/NZS 3000:2007.
- This class 1 appliance requires an earth connection.
- An accessible all-pole disconnection switch is required in the fixed wiring.
The heated towel rail should be mounted vertically with the cord exiting from the base; it should be positioned at least 600mm above the floor.
SWITCH OFF THE MAIN POWER
You will be installing the Vertical rail as part of a high voltage mains electrical circuit to ensure your safety and to protect the Vertical rail, switch off the mains power before you begin the installation.
INSTALL THE TRANSFORMER

INSTALL SEMICIRCLE FIXED PART AND MUSHROOM
Measure and mark out the leg positions making sure they are level and the bar must be installed at least 600mm above the floor.
- Using the 6mm drill bit, wall plugs and screws, screw the round hole of the semicircle fixed part into the appropriate location. And thread the electrical wiring through the se semicircle. Pull the wire through and attach to the wire connection on the individual bar. Using the 2pcs of the bracket fixing screws to contect the semicircle fixing part and top leg.
- Using the 6mm drill bit, wall plugs and screws, secure the mushroom for the bottom leg to the wall at the bottom leg position of the vertical bar. Position the legs over the mushroom and tighten using grub screws into the bottom leg of the individual bar.
