HOW DO I SWITCH THE DEVICE ON & OFF?
- ON/OFF: Press the power button in on the left side of the device
To REBOOT device, hold the on button in until menu appears where you press ‘reboot’
HOW TO MAKE A SALE
- Once device is switched on, the Nedbank App will launch
- Enter the amount and press ‘Confirm’
- Device will display: TOTAL: ‘Amount’
- Customer can complete the transaction
- Chip & Pin
- Swipe & Sign (if card does not have chip)
- Tap & Go
- Device will display: ‘Transaction Approved’
- Options for next steps:
- Print Customer Copy / Skip
HOW DO I REPRINT A SLIP?
- In the menu button in the top right corner
- Select ‘Reporting’
- Select ‘Receipts’
- ID = 1
- Pin: 12345
- Select ‘Last Receipt’ or ‘Specific Receipt;
- If ‘last receipt’ selected. Device will reprint the last transaction
- If ‘Specific Receipt’ selected: Enter Receipt Number, you would like to reprint and press ‘confirm’
MANUAL END-OF-DAY CASH UP
- Menu button top right
- Merchant Configuration
- Select ‘Batch Upload’
- User ID = 1
- User Pin 12345
- Login
This should be done at the end of each day
HOW TO SETUP DEVICE ON WIFI (OPTIONAL):
- From the Home screen, select ‘System’
- Enter Supervisor Login
- User ID: 1
- User Pin: 12345
- Select ‘WiFi’
- Select Wifi Connection, enter wifi password and click ‘Connect
