INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Buzz & Learn Activity Table™! The Buzz & Learn Activity Table™ features seven engaging play zones designed to stimulate visual and tactile development, while enhancing playtime fun. Pressing the buttons and flipping the pages of the animal-themed book reveal delightful phrases, cheerful songs, and exciting sound effects to captivate young learners.

• WARNING
  • All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

Unlock the Packaging Locks

• (The packaging locks are not included in a sealed box.)

1. Turn the packaging locks counterclockwise several times.
2. Pull out and discard the packaging locks.

CAUTION:

• Adult assembly required.
• This package contains small parts.
• For your child’s safety, do not let your child play with the toy until it is fully assembled.

GETTING STARTED

Battery Removal and Installation

1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover.
3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
4. Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box (for best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

WARNING:

Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

• Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

With the Buzz & Learn Activity Table™ safety comes first. To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required. For your child’s safety, do not let your child play with the toy until it is fully assembled.

1. Installing the Panels
   • Combine the 3 panels in order according to the numbers marked on the back, and fasten them with nine screws.
2. Installing the Beehive
   • Align the top of the beehive to the bottom of the beehive and press down to make sure it inserts properly.
3. Installing the Flowers
   • Insert the 3 gear flowers according to the size of the holes in the panel.
4. Installing the Bead Tracks
   • Align the two ends of the three bead tracks with their corresponding holes on the panels and insert them securely.
5. Installing the Table Legs
   • Attach the table legs by inserting them into the sockets located at the bottom of each panel.
6. Removing the Table Legs
   • To disassemble the table legs, please flip the table over, press up on the designated area and gently pull out the table legs from the back of each panel.

Please securely stick the labels to the table as indicted below:

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. Off/On/Volume Selector
   • To turn the unit On, slide the Off/On/ Volume Selector to the Low volume or the High volume position . You will hear fun sounds, a phrase and a song. To turn the unit Off, slide the Off/On/Volume Selector to the Off position .
2. Automatic Shut-Off
   • To conserve battery life, the Buzz & Learn Activity Table™ will automatically power down after a period of inactivity. To reactivate, simply press any button or flip the storybook.

NOTE If the unit powers down or if the light fades out during play, please install a new set of batteries.

1. Light-Up Buttons
   • Press the Light-Up Buttons to see a fox pop-up, hear sounds, melodies, sing-along songs and fun phrases.
2. Storybook
   • Flip the page of the Storybook to hear short tunes, animals sounds and phrases.
3. Flower Gears
   • Turn and see all the Flower Gears spin.
4. Beehive Sorter
   • Sort the blocks in the Beehive Sorter, then pop them out.
5. Forest Friends Maze
   • Slide the Forest Friends back and forth.
6. Wiggly Honey Bear
   • Wiggle the honeypot to make Bear dance.
7. Bead Tracks
   • Slide the beads on the Bead Tracks from one side to the other.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:

1. Turn the unit Off.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
