Battery Removal and Installation – TV
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit and use a
screwdriver to loosen the screw. - Open the battery cover and remove the old batteries by pulling
up on one end of each battery. - Install 3 new AA batteries following the diagram inside the
battery box. - Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Removal and Installation-TV
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF. 2. Find the battery cover located
on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, and then open the battery cover. 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery. 4. Install 3 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box (for best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended). 5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

Battery Removal and Installation-Remote Control
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Find the battery cover located on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, and then open the battery cover.
3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
4. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/ LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box (for best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
· Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -). · Do not mix old and new batteries. · Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
batteries. · Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used. · Do not short-circuit the supply terminals. · Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. · Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
· Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
· Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
· Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.
· Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. On/Off Switch To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off Slide Switch to the On ( )position. You will hear fun sounds, a phrase, and a song. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off Slide Switch to the Off ( ) position.
2. Remote Control The Remote Control works up to 13 feet away from the TV unit. Be sure there are no obstructions directly between the Remote Control and the TV. The Remote Control becomes inactive approximately 1 hour after the TV enters sleep mode.
3. Automatic Shut-off To preserve battery life, the Explore & Learn Smart TVTM will automatically power down after approximately 40 seconds of inactivity. To reactivate the unit, press any of the three light-up buttons on the TV, turn the volume dial, or use the remote control within one hour. Please note, the remote control will not function if the TV has been in sleep mode for approximately one hour.
NOTE If the TV and remote control power down, the lights fade during play, or the short `no power’ tune is heard, we recommend replacing the batteries.

Television Activities
1. LED Channel Up/Down Button Press the LED Channel Up/Down Button to change the channel, it will go to the previous/next channel of the current channel. You will hear fun sounds, friendly phrases and music. The lights will flash with the sound.
2. LED Music Button Press the LED Music Button to play 12 sing-along songs and 9 melodies with classic, pop and rock styles. The lights will flash with the sound.
3. Volume Control Dial Turn the Volume Control Dial to select the desired volume.

Remote Control Activities
1. News Button Press the News Button to explore channels featuring the Weather Report, Animals, News, and the Art Studio. Enjoy imaginative phrases, engaging sounds, and short tunes, accompanied by flashing lights.
2. Sports Button Press the Sports Button to explore channels featuring a Soccer Match and a Kart Race. Enjoy imaginative phrases and songs, engaging realistic football and car sounds, accompanied by flashing lights.
3. English/Spanish Button Press the ENG/SPA Button to access 5 bilingual channels in English and Spanish. Enjoy dynamic sounds, fun phrases, and songs, with lights that flash along with the sound.

4. Entertainment Button Press the Entertainment Button to explore channels such as a Talent Show, Talk Show, Cooking, and a Movie. Meet new characters and embark on exciting adventures, all accompanied by lively sound effects and flashing lights.
5. Channel Up/Down Button Use the Channel Up/Down Buttons to navigate through channels, switching to the previous or next one seamlessly. Each change is accompanied by entertaining sound effects, phrases, and songs, with lights flashing in sync.

period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps: 1. Please turn the unit Off. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. 4. Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to play again. 5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
