QELA-B

Conversion Kit

1. This kit converts all QELA series exit devices to QELA-B series exit devices.
2. Install according to instructions or device will not function and panic or fire label will be void.
3. The QEL wiring must remain attached to the fire alarm system if installed on fire exit hardware.

Parts

1. Remove Mechanism Case Endcap.
2. Remove Mechanism Case Cover. Disconnect Cable from back of QELA Motor.
3. Remove 2 Screws from QELA Motor Assembly.
4. Install QELA-B Module with 2 Newly Provided Screws.
5. Connect QELA-B Assembly to QELA Motor with Provided Cable.
6. Reconnect Power Cable to the Open Connector on back of QELA-B Module.
7. Reinstall Mechanism Case Cover and End Cap.
