Product Usage Instructions
Hardware Overview
The Jethro V1 AI Mouse features various buttons and functions:
- Left Click Button: Voice typing
- Right Click Button: Scroll Wheel AI Button
- Voice Button: Hold for voice typing, Single Click for word translation
- Translation Button: Hold for voice translation, Single Click for word translation
- Type-C Charging Port: Use the included cable for safe charging
- Power Switch
- USB Receiver: Stored inside the mouse, open the back cover to access it
- Mode Indicator and Switcher: Connect up to 3 devices, indicated by different lights
V-AI Software Installation
Windows System
- Visit www.virtusxus.com and download the software for Windows.
- Install the software and allow any security warnings from McAfee or Norton.
MacOS System
- Visit www.virtusxus.com and download the software for MacOS.
- Install the software and adjust system settings for Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and Screen Recording & System Audio Recording.
Voice Function Setup
Voice Typing/Speech to Text
- Set your language in the V-AI software under Voice typing settings.
Voice Translation
- Set languages for translation in the V-AI software under Translation settings.
- Hold the Smart Toolbar button for real-time translation.
Voice Command
- Use the Voice Command function by holding the AI button and speaking your task.

Charging the Mouse
- Fast charging isn’t supported. Use the included USB-C cable for safe charging.
- It is recommended to connect the mouse to your computer for charging.
USB Receiver Location
- The USB receiver is stored inside the mouse. Open the back cover to access it.
Multiple Connections
- Connect up to 3 different devices.
- Use the button on the right side to switch between them.
- Different lights indicate each connected device.

V-AI Software Installation
Window System
- Visit our official website: www.virtusxus.com
- Navigate to the Software tab.
- Select Download for Windows.
- Install the software. It should automatically open upon successful installation.
Important: If you use McAfee or Norton, you may see a warning. Please allow the installation to continue.
MacOS System
- Visit our official website: www.virtusxus.com
- Navigate to the Software tab.
- Select Download for MacOS.
- Double-click the file, then drag the V-AI icon to Applications to install.
- After installation, open System Settings and go to Privacy & Security.
- Enable the V-AI software under the following sections:
- Accessibility.
- Input Monitoring.
- Screen Recording & System Audio Recording.
Important: Once these settings are enabled, all AI features will function seamlessly on your MacOS system.

Voice Function Setup
Voice Typing/Speech to Text
Set Your Language
- Open the V-AI software.
- Go to Settings > Voice typing > Language.
- Choose the language you want to speak in.

Voice Translation
Set Your Language
- Open the V-AI software.
- Go to Settings > Translation > Language.
- Choose the language you will speak and the language you want it translated into.
Real Time Translation
- Hold the Smart Toolbar button to activate the language translation function.
- Press mode is not supported. Make sure to hold the button while speaking.
Important: If the voice input language is different from the one you’re speaking, it may not work correctly.
Voice Command
- Voice Command uses the same settings as Voice Typing.
Use Voice Command
- Hold the AI button and speak your task.
- Your command will automatically be typed into the V-AI chat, regardless of which window is open.
- Once entered, V-AI will start processing your request.
Important: If the voice input language is different from the one you’re speaking, it may not work correctly.

FAQs
Voice typing is not working
- The default language is set to English. Please select the language you are speaking before using voice typing.
Voice Function Still Not Working?
- Go to Settings > About Virtusx > Software Logs.
- Press the voice button—an action should be logged.
- If nothing appears, contact
- support@virtusxus.com for help.
My mouse is not charging
- Fast charging isn’t supported. Please use the included USB-C cable or a DC 5V-1A charger for safe charging.
Will V-AI receive updates?
- Yes, we update V-AI every month. Updates are posted in the Community section on our website.
