CAN005-X Wiring Harness

Note: Don’t need to connect all factory connectors.
Some functions will be lost after you remove the factory radio.

Factory Backup Camera Connection
Step 1: Connect the No.6 10-pin yellow female CAM-IN Line with the No.5 male camera VIN line of the CANO05-X harness.
Step 2: Plug the 10-pin yellow female CAM-IN Line into the back of the head unit.
Please confirm if the car’s backup camera activates automatically when reversing.
Solutions for Steering Wheel Control Not Working
(XC004-1 & CANO05-X)
You don’t need to wire the KEY1 and KEY2 lines. Please remap the steering wheel control manually.

Canbus Option of XC004-1 & CAN005-X Harness
Step 1: Please check the canbus option.
S1: Connect the head unit with your Phone hotspot first.
Click Settings APP –– Factory — password is 123456 — Select Models.
S2: Canbus option: 19: No protocol — 30: Toyota — 00:
General — Public
Finally, press ok to save the settings. Then the head unit will update it automatically.

CANO04-X Wiring Harness
Connection
Note: Don’t need to connect all factory connectors. Some functions will be lost after you remove the factory radio.

Note: You need to connect one of the O.2 or No.3 male rear camera lines.
Factory Backup Camera Connection
Step 1: Connect the No.4 10-pin yellow female CAM-IN Line with the No.2 or No.3 male camera VIN line of the CANO04-X harness.
Step 2: Plug the 10-pin yellow female CAM-IN Line into the back of the head unit. Please confirm if the car’s backup camera activates automatically when reversing.
Note: the CANO04-X harness has two male rear camera connections, VIN lines from the 16-pin connector, and the 24-pin connector. You only connect one of the yellow rear camera lines to the 1OPIN female camera line. If the factory backup camera is not working, switch the No. 3 yellow RCA to the No.2 yellow RCA. Also, exchange the white plug.
Solutions for Steering Wheel Control Not Working (CANO04-X)
Step 1: Please unplug and plug the No. 1 canbus box and No.7 8PIN canbus plug.
Step 2: Please rechoose the canbus option.
S1: Connect the head unit with your Phone hotspot first. Click Settings APP — Factory — password is 123456 — Select Models.
S2: Canbus option: 03: Simple Soft – 30: Toyota — 02: 2010 Sequoia – Public Finally, press ok to save the settings. Then the head unit will update it automatically.
Solutions for Factory Rear Camera Not Working
The 1 Factory backup camera doesn’t activate in reverse.
How to fix it?
If not, please ensure that the reverse connector is securely attached and that the G5 reverse line is not loose.

Factory backup camera activates in reverse, Butt the image is black. How to fix it?
- Go to Settings app – Reverse- Reverse System.
- Selection. Choose NTSC or PAL, then reboot the head unit and test the backup camera again.
- If the camera image is still black, connect the male CAMM IN line to tthe female Video-IN-1 or CVBS-IN-1 line of a 20P Audio Cable.
- Open the AUX app to check the camera image.
If the camera image is displayed in the AUX app, the OPIN CAM VIN line may be broken.
If the image is still not displayed, the CANO04-X harness may be broken.

STEP 1: Please follow the instructions below to connect the reversing camera first.
Guide to Connecting ViaBecs
CA-729AHD Reversing Camera (Backup camera is not included)
- Connect to the Camera Input of
- Switch 720P and 1080P car stereo or monitor (Cut white line, switch to 1080P)
- Reverse line or back line
- Red: Both connect to the car
- Connect to the backup camera, backup light + 12V
- Black: Connect to the GND of the Power cable

Note: If your monitor or car stereo doesn’t support AHD 1920*1080P, please don’t cut the 5 white lines.
STEP 2: Set up camera format
Problem: Why is my backup camera image black when I put the car in reverse?
Please confirm the resolution of your camera first.
Go to Settings – Reverse – Reversing system selection
- If your camera is not HD, please choose NTSC or PAL.
- If your camera is an HD version, please select the corresponding rear view format.
- Then test the backup camera again after youreboott the head unit.

Case 1: Listening to my message through Apple CarPlay, I had to turn the volume up a lot. When I switched back to FM, it was so loud.

Case 3: The aftermarket subwoofer is working when the radio is on, but not when Apple carplay is on.

A: You can update the system and MCU online. Please connect your home wifi first. And then open the Settings APP — About — Detection Update.

S1. To activate Tink for initial use, you must connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Here are the steps:
- Please drop down the Quick Settings Menu.
- Long-press the Wi-Fi icon to enable it.
- Proceed to connect to your phone’s hotspot or home wifi initially.
Note: Before proceeding, ensure to clear the usage record of Tlink.
S2. Reinstall the Tink APP
- You can uninstall the Tlink app if it is still not activated.
- To proceed, press and hold the app for 3 to 5 seconds to delete it.
- Reinstall the Tlink app through the Dofun Play app.
- Afterward, restart the head unit to test it once more.

S3. If Tink requests the auth_key, kindly capture a clear photo of the QR activation code and send it to us. Our engineer will then activate it by scanning the code.
- Open the Tlink app and navigate to “About.”
- Select the first option (Wireless Carplay + Wireless Android Auto + Wired Android Auto) and tap “refresh” to obtain a new QR code.
- Take a photo of the new code and forward it to me promptly. Please note that the code may expire if not used promptly.
