Welcome to your JBL TUNE230NC TWS. This guide will help you get started.

How to Wear

Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.
Insert the earbuds into your ears and adjust for a secure fit.

First Time Use

Open the charging case to power on and pair your earbuds.

Power On & Connect

Open the charging case to power on your earbuds. They will automatically enter pairing mode.

For other devices:

Go to your device's Bluetooth settings.
Select "JBL TUNE230NC TWS" to connect.

For Android 6.0+ devices, Fast Pair allows for quick connection. Tap to pair when the device is discovered.

Dual Connect + Sync

You can use either one or both earbuds.

Stereo Mode: Use both earbuds for immersive stereo sound.
Mono Mode: Use a single earbud for mono sound.

Controls

Use the touch controls on the earbuds:

Tap x 1: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call
Tap x 2: Next track, Previous track
Tap x 3: Activate voice assistant (Bixby/Siri®/Google Assistant)
Hold (2s): ANC / Ambient Aware toggle

Note: Enable advanced controls and assign voice assistants through the JBL Headphones app.

Power Off

Place the earbuds back into the charging case to power them off.

Manual Setup

Connect to a new Bluetooth device

If the earbuds do not automatically connect, you can manually connect them via Bluetooth settings.

Factory Reset

To reset your earbuds to factory settings, place both earbuds in the charging case, keep the case open, and press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for more than 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue.

Do More with the App

The JBL Headphones app allows you to customize EQ settings, manage ANC modes, update firmware, and access other features.

Charging

Place the earbuds in the charging case to charge them. The case also charges the earbuds.

Charging Time:

10 minutes of charge provides up to 2 hours of playback.
A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

BT Connecting: Pulsing blue
BT Connected: Solid blue
BT Not Connected: Flashing blue
Factory Reset: Flashing blue
Low Battery: Red
Charging: Pulsing white
Fully Charged: Solid white
