Overview

VEVOR OT044S is a switch panel designed to control 8 auxiliary LED lights or electrical devices, with colorful background lighting, automatic/dimmable backlight, and selectable lighting/load behavior.

Quick Setup / Use

  1. Read the manual instructions carefully before operating.
  2. Confirm the control box and switch panel installation location; ensure clearance behind the drilling area so you do not damage wiring harnesses/components.
  3. Mount the control box using either fix mount (mounting bracket) or flush mount method.
  4. Mount the switch panel using either an adjustable-angle mounting bracket or a slim-line flush mount bracket; the ideal mounting surface thickness is 1/8 to 1/4.
  5. Ensure the control wire and extension “plug & play” wire are long enough for the chosen location.
  6. Wire and connect to up to 8 auxiliary LED lights/electrical devices; ensure all lamps are connected before connecting the power cable.
  7. Turn OFF all switches after vehicle shutdown to prevent battery drain.
  8. To turn off the background light: press the OFF/ON key (this turns OFF both load switches at the same time and retains the last memory function).

BACKLIT BRIGHTNESS DIMMABLE

MOUNTING THE CONTROL BOX
TWO different installation methods are available: Fix mount bracket Flush mount The ideal mounting of the control box should low for an unobstructed path for the power wires, accessory wires and the control harnesses included. If you decide to drill, please check the clearance behind the drilling location. Make sure you are not going to drill through and damage any wiring harnesses and components of the vehicle.

SWITCH PANEL MOUNTING
TWO different installation methods are available mounting bracket angle is adjustable:Angle-adjustable mount bracket Slim line flush mount bracket Attach the switch panel to the mount bracket you need, then use the supplied screw accessories to fix the bracket. The ideal thickness of the mounting surface should be between 1/8″ to 1/4″.Check to make sure the control wire and extension plug&play wire is long enough to mount the desired location. Check the clearance behind the installation location. Make sure you are not going to drill through and damaged any wires and components of the vehicle. Once you decide where to mount, use the bracket to mark the drill location. After the installation of the panel, proceed to the wiring installation.

High Temperature Malfunction IndicatorIf the operating temperature of the equipment exceeds the system set value, the indicator light at the center of the control board illuminates accompanied by a buzzing alarm. The system locks up and shuts down automatically. When the temperature drops below the preset threshold, the indicator light turns off, the buzzing sound ceases, and the system resumes normal operation. Single Circuit Malfunction Indicator A red light next to the fuse clip lights up in the event of a single circuit failure.

Connect to 8 auxiliary LED lights or electrical devices

  • Total power will go to 600w at 12V, 1200W at 24V and the maximum current is 60A.
  • The maximum output current of ground 7 & 8 is 30A, the maximum output current of ground 1-6 is 20A.
  • The recommended connection method is to increase the current gradually from ground 1 to ground 8.

Troubleshooting

  • High temperature malfunction (high temperature indicator + buzzer): If the equipment operating temperature exceeds the system set value, the center indicator light illuminates and a buzzing alarm sounds; the system locks up and shuts down automatically. When temperature drops below the preset threshold, the indicator turns off, buzzing stops, and normal operation resumes.
  • Single circuit malfunction (single circuit indicator): If a single circuit failure occurs, the red light next to the fuse clip lights up.
