Simply Connect to the Power

1. Disconnect power from the distribution board.
2. Install Socket.
3. Always use cable of the correct rating and type.
4. All sockets must be earthed and check earth leads adequately sleeved. Connect the earth wire(s) to the terminal marked with an earth symbol. Connect the live wire(s) to the terminal marked L. Connect the neutral wire(s) to the terminal marked N.
5. Reconnect power from the distribution board.

Android Devices

1. The next step is to create an account for the Supla App that will be used to control the socket from your mobile device. For Android devices, scan the QR code or search the Google Play Store and download the Supla App from on your chosen mobile device.
2. Click on “Settings” and “Create an account” and after creating login details an email should have been sent to your selected email address. If the email doesn’t appear then please also check your junk/spam folder.
3. Reload the app on your mobile device and in the settings of your device switch off any mobile data connection.
4. Put the socket into configuration mode by pressing the socket button for at least 10 seconds until the blue light starts to blink quickly.
5. Click the 3‐line menu button on the top left of the screen and click the “Add I/O Device” button on this menu and follow the procedure.
6. The socket should now be installed successfully and will appear on your Supla home screen. Slide this tab to the left to reveal the virtual switch and you should now be able to switch the socket by using your mobile device.
7. The name of the socket can be changed by holding a press on the socket tab and changing the ‘channel name’. The name of the assigned location can be changed by holding a press on the location section and changing the ‘location name’.

Apple Devices

1. The next step is to create an account for the Supla App that will be used to control the socket from your mobile device. For Apple devices, scan the QR code or search the App Store and download the Supla App on your chosen mobile device.
2. Click on “Create an account” and after creating login details an email should have been sent to your selected email address. If the email doesn’t appear then please also check your junk/spam folder.
3. Click on the web link that was sent to your email but do not sign in on the webpage at this point.
4. Put the socket into configuration mode by pressing the socket button for at least 10 seconds until the blue light starts to blink quickly. (PTO)
5. Reload the app on your mobile device and click the 3‐line menu button on the top left of the screen and click the add I/O device button on this menu and follow the procedure.
6. Press the “system settings” button on your mobile device and change the network on your mobile device to the one  beginning with SUPLA.
7. The socket should now be installed successfully and will appear on your Supla home screen. Slide this tab to the left to reveal the virtual switch and you should now be able to switch the socket by using your mobile device.
8. The name of the socket can be changed by holding a press on the tab and changing the ‘channel name’. The name of the assigned location can be changed by holding a press on the location section and changing the ‘location name’. Simply Connect to Google Home

1. Open your Google Home app, and open settings
2. Open ‘Works with Google’
3. Search ‘Supla’, choose ‘SUPLA.ORG’ as seen below. Sign into the Supla website when it comes up. Your account will automatically be linked. Choose the device you want to set up and set up as appropriate.
4. Use your socket with the device widget on the Google Home app, or with linked Google Home accessories.

Simply Connect to Amazon Alexa

1. Open your Amazon Alexa app, and tap more
2. Tap the search icon in the top right and tap ‘Skills & Games’
3. Search ‘supla’, choose ‘SUPLA’. Enable the Supla skill on your Alexa system.
4. Sign into the Supla website when it comes up. Grant access, and your account will be linked to Alexa. Your account is now linked.
5. Tap ‘Discover Devices’ for Alexa to recognise your new socket. You can now use your socket with the device widget on the Alexa app, or with linked Alexa accessories.

If this item becomes defective, Varilight undertakes to repair or replace the item, at its discretion, and solely as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, provided that the unit has been correctly fitted according to the instructions, has not been used overloaded beyond its rating, tampered with or taken apart.
