Fit Counterbored Spacer

Fit black counter-bored spacer onto the lower latch bolt. Ensure you do NOT use the non-bored spacer also supplied.

Fit Small Bracket

Fit the supplied bracket over the lower latch bolt, ensuring to use the correct side matching the photo (reference the notch on the bracket lower section).

Ensure the Polaris pressed washer remains in place on the check cable bolt hole.

Secure Internal Bracket

Replace the check cable bolt, using it to align the lower captive threaded hole of the bracket.

Reuse the nut that was removed earlier on the lower latch bolt and tighten to secure the bracket in place.

The check cable bolt can then be removed once again.

Replace Light

Replace the rear light using only the upper bolt to secure it at this point

Fit Spacer

Fit the supplied noncounterbored spacer on the lower light bolt hole as shown.

Fit Protective Foam

Fit foam edge to light guard.

This is optional but provides more protection to the vehicle at the contact point of the guard.

Fit Guard

Fit the guard using the provided longer bolt for the lower light bolt hole, as well as the check cable bolt (re-fitting the check cable as necessary)

Use the slots on the guard to assist with alignment.

Fitting complete

Repeat the process on the opposite side, and enjoy your light guards
