- To ensure good ventilation, leave a gap of approximately 20 cm on all sides of the unit.
- Before using the unit for the first time, after transportation or an extended storage period, leave it with the lid open for 2 hours after levelling and positioning the unit on a countertop. This allows the liquids inside the compressor to settle before use. After 2 hours, connect the unit to the power supply.

Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
- For hygiene reasons, the unit must be cleaned before and after each use.
- Do not use organic solvents, boiling water, cleaners, strong acids or alkalis, etc., to clean the unit.
- Do not clean the evaporator.
- Before cleaning or maintaining the unit, make sure that it has been switched off and unplugged from the mains socket. Let it cool completely and remove any ice cubes.
- Never immerse the unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Clean the unit (inside and outside) with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Drain the water tank and refill with fresh water every 24 hours to ensure the quality of the ice cubes.
- After use, leave the lid open to prevent mould and bacteria growth.
Draining water from the water tank:
- Move the unit forward until it hangs at least 10 cm off the edge of the countertop and over the edge of a sink or container to collect the water. Remove the drain plug on the bottom of the unit to release the water.
- Tilt the appliance up to 30° to assist the draining. If there is residual water in the ice-making area, gently push the ice shovel backwards so that all the water drains into the water tank.
- After draining, insert the drain plug into the drain plug hole.
Cleaning the internal parts and flushing the pipes
- Fill the water tank to the MAX water level mark with water. If there is a buildup of scale, you can use a solution of 50% water and 50% white vinegar.
- Press and hold the
button to start cleaning. The four indicator lights flash alternately, and the pump starts to pump water around the appliance. The cleaning program takes 5 minutes.
- To stop the cleaning mode at any time, press the
button.
- When the cleaning program has finished or it has been stopped, the unit will enter the standby mode (the selected green ice cube indicator light flashes). Drain the water from the water tank.
Cleaning the filter cover:
