Three Working Modes
Get the App 
- Please search “U home by U-tec” in the App Store (iOS) or “U home” in the Play Store (Android).
- Scan the QR code to download the App
Add Device to Enter Smart Mode
Select the”+” icon in the app’s main interface to add the new device, then follow the app instructions to finish the setup process.
Two Methods to Power On/ Off
- Control by App
- Control by On/Off Button
Child Mode (OnlyApp)
In Child Mode, the plug can only be turned On/Off via the U home app to avoid misoperation by children.
Enable and Disable
- Go to the settings page to enable/disable Child Mode.
- Another way to disable Child Mode is to press the physical On/Off button on the plug 5 times. The status indicator will turn blue.

Standalone Mode (NoApp)
In Standalone Mode, the smart plug is used in the same way as a common plug.
Enter and Cancel
- After reset, if the plug is not configured with the app within 5 minutes, the smart plug will enter standalone mode.
- If you want to cancel the standalone mode, please reset it and then set up the plug with the app.
One Method to Power On/ Off
Only controlled by the On/Off Button.
Smart Home Platform Integration
Smart Plug also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, I FTTT, and SmartThings when the device is set up in the U Home App.
