Q1: Does this switch include any cables?

A1: Yes, it includes two 5ft (1.5m) USB A to A cables and one 5ft (1.5m) Desktop Controller. The 5V 2A power adapter and USB C power cable are not included.

Q2: How to switch from one PC to another PC?

A2: It can be switched by the Push Button or the Desktop Controller.

Q3: Can I use this USB sharing switch with a Macbook?

A3: Yes, you can use it with a Macbook, but you need to connect the Mac to the switch via a USB C to A adapter and a USB A to A cable.

Q4: What is the max speed of the USB A ports and the USB C output port?

A4: They are USB 3.0 ports with the max speed of 5Gbps and backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1.

Q5: How much power can this switch output via the USB A ports and USB C port at max?

A5: It can output 2.4A at max in total when a power adapter is connected to the switch.

Q6: What kind of power adapter can be used with this USB switch?

A6: You can use any standard 5V 2A power adapter with a USB C power cable. And they're not included in the package.

Q7: Can I connect two hard drives at the same time?

A7: For 2.5” HDD/SSD, we suggest connecting up to two 2.5” 1TB HDD/SSD at once. For 3.5” HDD/SSD, four can be connected simultaneously.

Q8: Can I use the 4 USB output ports and the USB C power port to charge my devices?

A8: (1). The USB A/C output ports in the front are mainly used for data transmission. Charging is not recommended. (2). The USB C power port next to the USB IN 2 is only for a stable data transfer for the connected high-power devices such as HDDs and Printers, but cannot charge the devices and your laptops.

Q9: Is this switch plug-and-play?

A9: Yes, it is plug-and-play, and no driver is needed.

Q10: Can I use this switch to wake up a sleeping computer?

A10: Yes, it can wake up a sleeping computer via mouse or keyboard.

Q11: Is this switch bidirectional?

A11: No, this switch only works as 2 in 4 out.

Q12: Does this USB sharing switch have led indicators?

A12: Yes, it has two LED indicators. The corresponding led indicator will light according to the computer you switch to.
