Product Installation
Confirm the Phase of the Circuit
If this sm art m eter is installed on a single-phase power grid, ignore this section and proceed to the next step, “Install the Sm art M eter”. If this sm art m eter is installed on a three-phase power grid, it is necessary to confirm the installation position of the m eter according to the following m ethod. Confirm the corresponding switch and the phase of the m icroinverter or m icro storage unit in the household distribution box. As shown in the figure below, it is necessary to confirm which phase of the m icroinverter or m icro storage unit is in. The sm art m eter m ust be installed next to the electricity m eter. W hen the m eter is in the sam e phase as the corresponding m icroinverter or m icro storage unit, the m icroinverter or m icro storage unit can turn on the zero export function.
· Method 1: If the circuits or devices controlled by each switch are clearly m arked on each singlephase switch in the household distribution box, the installer can directly find the circuit switch that controls the m icroinverter or m icro storage unit. · Method 2: If the control circuit of each single – phase switch in the household distribution box cannot be clearly distinguished, the installer can consult the household about the house power grid wiring diagram , obtain relevant inform ation by querying the drawing, and find the circuit switch that controls the m icroinverter or m icro storage unit.
· Method 3: If relevant inform ation cannot be found in the distribution box or drawing m aterials, the installer can quickly find the corresponding circuit switch according to the following steps. 1. S te p 1 : C o n n e ct a n e a sily-o b se rva ble h o u se h o ld a p p lia n ce (su ch a s a n e le ctric fan, desk lam p, etc.) to the socket that is ready to have the m icroinverter or m icro storage unit installed. 2. S te p 2 : Tu rn o n th e h o u se h o ld a p p lian ce a n d p u t it in w o rkin g m o d e (fo r exa m p le , turning on the electric fan or desk lam p). 3. S te p 3 : Tu rn o ff th e sin g le -p h a se sw itch e s in th e h o u se h o ld d istrib u tio n b o x o n e after another, and observe the status of household appliances at the sam e tim e. If the household appliance used for observation stops working after closing a singlephase switch (for exam ple, the electric fan stops rotating, the desk lam p goes out), then the single-phase switch is the control switch of the corresponding circuit. After finding the corresponding circuit switch, install the sm art m eter on the bus (or connection line) between the three-phase switch and the single-phase switch. For exam ple, if the sm art m eter is installed in the L1 phase, the wiring should be as fo llo w s .
Warning: The m axim um passing current of the Sm art M eter is 100A. The load current in this circuit cannot exceed this upper lim it.
Pre-installation Check
Check the Product and Accessary
Although TSUN’s products have passed stringent testing and are inspected before leaving the factory, it is possible that the products m ay be dam aged during transportation. Please check the product for any obvious signs of dam age. If such signs are present, contact your dealer as soon as possible.

Check the Installation Environment and Location
W hen selecting the installation location, the following conditions should be adhered to: · Install the PEEM -S100 close to or within the hom e distribution box. · Avoid electrom agnetic interference that could affect the proper operation of electronic equipm ent. · Use a m obile phone to assess the W i-Fi signal strength at the installation site. If the W i-Fi signal is weak, attem pt to install the PEEM -S100 at an alternative location or relocate the W i-Fi router.
Install the Smart Meter
· Step 1: Turn off the three-phase switch and all single-phase switches of the distribution box.
Danger: Installers m ust ensure that the three-phase switch as well as all other switches rem ain in a closed state during the whole operation process. M eanwhile, be cautious not to touch the exposed conductive part on the grid – side of the three – phase switch to prevent electric shock.
· Step 2: Install the Sm art M eter on the rail of the distribution box.
· S tep 3: C onnect the L (Live) and N (N eutral) cables to port 11 and port 14 respectively. Then connect the C T cable to port 4 (using the R ed C able) and port 5 (using the Black Cable).
· Step 4: M ount the CT onto the correct L cable. The arrow direction m arked on the CT should be oriented towards the inverter side.
· Step 5: Connect the W i-Fi antenna cable to the PEEM -S100. Place the antenna outside the distribution box to ensure a strong W i-Fi signal.
· S tep 6: U pon confirm ing the correct w iring of the m eter, turn on the three-phase switch and the single-phase switch.
