Product Information
- The MACC-2300 Matter & Start-Line Smart Socket Switch is a versatile device that allows for wireless control of lights or devices.
- It can be paired with a Matter App or Trust Switch-In Start-Line transmitter for convenient operation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Place the socket switch in an outlet. Proceed to step 2 to connect with a Matter App or step 3 to connect with a Trust Switch-In Start-Line transmitter.
- Ensure your phone or tablet is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
- Open the Matter App (e.g., Apple Home or Google Home App).
- Press the button on the socket switch to initiate the Matter pairing mode (LED blinks green).
- Follow the App instructions to connect the socket switch to the Matter App within 5 minutes.
- Press the button on the switch to start the pairing mode (LED blinks green).
- Send an ON signal using a Trust Switch-In transmitter within 12 seconds.
- The switch will click 4 times to confirm successful pairing.
- Use the paired Start-Line transmitter to wirelessly turn on or off the connected light/device.
- Resetting Matter will disconnect the switch from the Matter App. Follow these steps carefully:
- Disconnect any connected devices from the switch.
- Press and hold the button for 15 seconds until the LED blinks red.
- Press and hold the button again for 6 seconds when the LED blinks red.
- The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.
INSTALL THE SOCKET SWITCH
- Place the socket switch in an outlet.
- To connect the socket switch with a Matter App, proceed to step 2.
- To connect the socket switch with a Trust Switch-In Start-Line transmitter, proceed to step 3.
CONNECT TO MATTER APP
Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network and not to a 5 GHz WiFi network.
- A: Open the Matter App (e.g., Apple Home or Google Home App) on your phone or tablet.
- B: Shortly press the button on the socket switch to start the Matter pairing mode. The LED indicator on the socket switch will blink green. (The Matter pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes; connect the socket switch to a Matter App within these 5 minutes.)
- C: Follow the instructions in the App to connect a new Matter device. If you are unable to connect the socket switch, reset it according to the “Reset Matter Switch” step.
PAIRING WITH START-LINE TRANSMITTER
- A: Short press the button on the switch to start the pairing mode. The LED indicator on the switch will blink green. (The Start-Line pairing mode lasts for 12 seconds.)
- B: During the pairing mode (within 12 seconds), send an ON signal using a Trust Switch-In transmitter.
- C: The switch will make a clicking sound 4 times to confirm that the pairing was successful.
The switch can store up to 32 different transmitters in its memory. The paired transmitters will remain stored even if the switch is moved to another outlet.
WIRELESS CONTROL WITH RF433 START-LINE TRANSMITTER
- Use the paired Start-Line transmitter to send an ON signal to wirelessly turn on the light/device.
- Use the paired Start-Line transmitter to send an OFF signal to wirelessly turn off the light/device.
OPTIONAL: RESET MATTER
Warning: After performing this step, you will no longer be able to control the switch via Matter, and you will need to remove the switch from the Matter App. (The paired Start-Line transmitters will not be removed).
- A: First, disconnect any connected devices (such as a TV or radio) from the switch before performing this step. Lights may remain connected.
- B: To reset Matter, press and hold the button on the switch for 15 seconds until the LED blinks red.
- C: When the LED blinks red, press and hold the button again for 6 seconds.
- D: The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.
OPTIONAL: REMOVE A SINGLE START-LINE TRANSMITTER
- A: First, disconnect any connected devices (such as a TV or radio) from the switch before performing this step. Lights may remain connected.
- B: Shortly press the button on the switch to activate the pairing mode. The pairing mode will be active for 12 seconds, and the LED indicator on the switch will blink green.
- C: While the pairing mode is active (within 12 seconds), send an OFF signal with the connected Trust Switch-In transmitter. (Refer to the transmitter’s manual if needed).
- D: The switch will click 4 times to confirm that the transmitter has been removed.
OPTIONAL: RESET START-LINE MEMORY
Warning: This step will remove all paired Start-Line transmitters from the switch’s memory. (Matter will not be reset by this process).
- A: First, disconnect any connected devices (such as a TV or radio) from the switch before performing this step. Lights may remain connected.
- B: To reset the Start-Line memory, press and hold the button on the switch for 15 seconds until the LED blinks red.
- C: When the LED blinks red, press the button briefly again.
- D: The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.
OPTIONAL: RESET START-LINE MEMORY WITH REMOTE Warning: This step will remove all paired Start-Line transmitters from the switch’s memory. (Matter will not be reset by this process).
- A: First, disconnect any connected devices (such as a TV or radio) from the switch before performing this step. Lights may remain connected.
- B: Shortly press the button on the switch to activate the pairing mode. The pairing mode will be active for 12 seconds, and the LED indicator on the switch will blink green.
- C: While the pairing mode is active (within 12 seconds), send a GROUP OFF signal with the connected Trust Switch-In transmitter. (Refer to the transmitter’s manual if needed).
- D: The switch will click 4 times to confirm the reset.

- Even when this product is switched off, there may still be voltage at the connection points. Switch off the mains voltage if you want to be sure that there is no voltage.
- This product must be powered via the mains (230V, 50Hz). You can easily insert this switch into a socket.
- Exceeding the maximum load (2300 watts) can lead to malfunctions and short circuits. This product is equipped with a thermal fuse, which automatically cuts off the power in the event of a short circuit or overload.
- This device transmits radio signals. Therefore, be careful when using wireless equipment if you have a pacemaker. Never use Trust Switch-in products for “life support” systems or applications where equipment malfunctions can be life-threatening.
- Do not open the device. You cannot and may not repair or modify this product. If you have any doubts about the correct functioning, return the product to the store where you purchased it.
- This product is not water-resistant and therefore not suitable for outdoor use. Only clean this product with a dry cloth after first disconnecting it from the mains.
- Do not expose the product to excessive heat or cold. Extreme temperatures have a negative effect on the lifespan of electronics. Do not drop the product. Shocks can damage the internal electronics. Keep the device and all loose parts away from children, pets, and unauthorized persons.
