OVERVIEW

HOW TO SWITCH VIEWS?
In the game catalog page, press START to switch between flow view and grid view.

HOW TO SEARCH GAME?

1. press hotkey “Select” for search.
2. Press MENU, then select [Search] in the popup menu.

In game catalog page, the search function will find game content in global Search mode.In the game list, the search function will find game contents in the current list.

HOW TO EDIT THE GAME CATALOG VISIBILITY?
Press the MENU button on the game catalog page, select ‘Edit’, and press the A button to initiate edit mode. To check or uncheck| the checkbox, press A. To select the game catalog you want to display, check it. To remove the check for the game catalog you want to hide, uncheck it. Press B to display a window asking if you want to save the changes. Select “Ok” and press A to confirm the save and finish editing.

HOW TO ADD ‘BEST’ GAMES AND THUMBNAILS.
The ‘Best’ is the same rules as ‘Emus’ and placed “\Best\xxxx\con-fig json”, difference:

1. The main “icon” will be a large poster view.
2. Single flow view only, no grid view.

By the example above, the EASYRPG game is placed in the “\Roms EASYRPG” path, and the corresponding game thumbnail is placed in the “\Imgs EASYRPG” path. Note that the game file name must be consistent with the thumbnail name, and the thumbnail image must be in PNG format. After adding, press [menu] and click [Refresh Roms]. This will generate the database file ‘Roms/EASYRPG/EASYRPG_cache7.db You can safely delete the db file in the Roms directory for manually refreshing.

HOW TO START NETPLAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE VIA LAN?

1. Make sure all players have the same game ROM;
2. All players are connected to the same WLAN;
3. All players turn on the netplay function in the “settings” — ‘System’
4. Host players enter the game directly;
5. After a while, the slave players will be able to discover the game found on the host in ‘Netplay”. The slave can select it and press A to join the game.

HOW TO START NETPLAY WITH OTHER PEOPLE VIA HOTSPOT?

1. Make sure all players have the same game ROM;
2. Host player open hotspot, slave players connect the hotspot;
3. All players turn on the netplay function in the ‘System’ ;
4. The host player enters the game directly;
5. After a while, the slave players will be able to discover the game found on the host in ‘Netplay”. The slave can select it and press A to join the game.

[Tips] Please wait for the host game ready(playing) before joining the slave.

UI OPERATION
Press the dpad key to move the cursor to select, and navigate to the top ‘TAB’ bar to change between ‘Best/Game/Apps/Settings. You can also switch ‘TAB’ by pressing L or R. Press A to confirm and press B to exit. Press the [MENU] key to call popup menus.

MAKE SD(TF) CARD CONTENT

1. Format the SD card into Fat32 format.
2. Go to the official site or GitHub to download the latest SD base package, unzip it and copy it directly to the SD card. SD base package did not contain any game contents.
3. Copy your game files and thumbnails png according to ‘config.json’, commonly in ‘\Roms xxxx’ and \mgs xxxx!.

FIRMWARE UPDATE

1. Download and copy ‘trimui_tg3040.awing’ in the root directory of the SD card.
2. Turn off the device and insert the SD(TF) card.
3. Press and hold the [Volume ] and [POWER] keys at the same time. When you see LOGO appearing on the screen, release the POWER key.
4. When you see the green bar appearing on the screen release the (Volume-] key, and it will automatically restart after successful installation.

[Tips] Please check the official website or Git Hub for the latest firmware and SD basic packages.

FUNCTION KEY (Fn /F1/F2)

HOST
with built-in custom FN options. Options include: “Turn off ambient light”, “Reduce volume”, “Mute”, “Keep low power mode”, etc. Used to connect external devices, such as USB flash drives, handles, etc. Note that this port cannot be used for charging.

DC
Please use a 5v-2A or lower power adapter for charging. Do not use any fast charging power adapter exceeding 5v.

POWER KEY
Press the POWER button for 1.5 seconds to return to the main menu, 3 seconds for soft shutdown, 10 seconds for forced power off, and short press once for standby.

Connect to Wi-Fi
Press “R” to switch the navigation bar to the settings bar, use the cross key to move the cursor to select “Wi-Fi”, then press “A” to turn on WI-FI. The system will automatically search for available WiFi networks, find the network name (SSID) you want to connect to, press “A” to confirm and enter the corresponding password (if necessary), and press “START” to confirm.

SWITCH THE USER LANGUAGE
Press “R” to switch the navigation bar to the Settings bar, use the dead key to move the cursor to select “System”, then select “Language”.

USB DATA TRANSFER
If you want to modify the SD(TF) card through the USB data cable, you need to first open the “Application” -> “USB Card Reader Mode” in the device. Then plug the USB data cable with data transmission into the bottom ‘DC’ USB Type-C interface.

DATE AND TIME SYNCHRONIZATION
Connect the device’s Wi-Fi to any router that can access the Internet, and the device will automatically synchronize the date and time.

ADD FLAVOR AND DELETE GAMES
Enter the relevant game catalog, select the game you want, press [MENU], and then select [Add to Favorites] or [Delete] to delete the game.

CHARGING FUNCTION
Plug in the charging cable(in the package) and connect it to the “DC” port on the bottom of the device. Use a 5V-2A charger or less. Do not use any fast charging adapter. The charging indicator LED is on the side of the machine. The light is red when charging. The light will go out when fully charged. If the light is still red when the power is 100%, it means the device is trickle charging, and it will automatically go out after the trickle charging is completed. This Device has automatic protection when charging overheats, with a slow blinking red LED until the temperature returns to normal.
