Product Usage Instructions
Power Up Your Device
- Plug in your hub and wait until the LED blinks orange and blue.
- Note: If the LED is not blinking orange and blue, press and
hold the SYNC button for 5 seconds to reset the hub.

Set Up Your Device
- Get the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play, and log in.
- For Contact Sensor:
- Stick the included adhesives on the sensor and magnet.
- Tap the button in the app and select Hubs. Follow the in-app
instructions to set up and connect your Tapo sensors to the hub.
- For Motion Sensor:
- Choose where you’d like to install the sensor.
- Place the magnet near the edge of the door or window that moves.
- Align the magnet and sensor with no more than 0.59 inches (15 mm) between them when the door or window is closed.

How do I replace the battery?

Power Up Your Device

Note: You can also tap the button. Select Sensors and then your model, and choose the added hub for your sensors.
Mount Your Sensor
For Contact Sensor
- Stick the included adhesives on the sensor and magnet.
* The installation height should not be higher than 6.56 ft (2 m). - Choose where you’d like to install the sensor (but don’t attach it yet). Place the magnet near the edge of the door or window that moves.
Note:
Leave at least 0.39 inches (10 mm) of space so you can open the battery compartment. - Align the magnet and sensor with no more than 0.59 inches (15 mm) between them when the door or window is closed.
Peel the backing from the adhesive and press the sensor and magnet into place.
For Motion Sensor
- Option 1: Magnetically attach to metallic objects
- Option 2: Stick to a clean wall with included adhesive
- Option 3: Place it on a shelf or table

How to reset your sensor
After removing the cover, use a pin to press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds until the front LED starts blinking.

- Tapo T110 includes button/coin cell batteries of type CR2032; Tapo T100 includes button/coin cell batteries of type CR2450.
- The nominal voltage of the button/coin cell batteries is +3V.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 60°C/140°F or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in chemical burns.
- Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -). Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
- Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period of time according to local regulations. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.
