Installation
Refer to the installation section at the beginning of the guide to install the device.

 

Typical Network Topology

Note: For Hardware Controller, a DHCP server (typically a router/gateway) with DHCP function enabled is required to assign IP addresses to the EAPs and the Hardware Controller in your local network.

Power On

Via Power Cord/Power Adapter
Connect your device to the power source via the power cord/power adapter.

  • Via Standard PoE Device (If Supported)
    Connect an Ethernet cable from the ETH1 (PoE IN) port of your device to a standard 802.3af or 802.3at or 802.3bt PoE device, such as a TP-Link PoE switch.

  • Via USB Power Source (If Supported)
    Connect a USB cable (not provided) from the micro USB port of your device to the USB power source.

Configuration

The device can be configured and monitored centrally via a controller. For details, refer to the manuals for the relevant product and controller.
