    Question

How do I troubleshoot Bluetooth pairing issues between the TiNLY Sp/lit CD player and an external speaker when BT-OUT mode is active but no sound is produced?

    Answer

Based on the TiNLY Sp/lit manual, please follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the pairing and sound issues:

    • Verify Mode: Ensure the CD player is specifically in BT-OUT mode. Press the MODE button until the display indicates it is searching for external Bluetooth devices.
    • Check Speaker Status: Confirm your external speaker is in pairing mode. If the blue light is flashing, it is ready to pair. Ensure no other devices (like a phone) are currently connected to the speaker, as this can block the CD player from connecting.
    • Confirm CD Playback: The manual notes that if there is no sound in BT-OUT mode, you should press the MODE button to confirm it is in CD mode (playing the disc) while the Bluetooth output is active.
    • Volume Check: Since you confirmed the CD player works with wired headphones, ensure the volume on the external speaker itself is turned up. Also, press and hold the + button on the CD player to ensure its output volume is at maximum.
    • Power Supply: If the device is unstable, the manual suggests connecting the TYPE-C cable to an external power source to ensure the Bluetooth transmitter has sufficient power.

If the blue light continues to flash without turning solid, try resetting both devices by turning them off and back on, then initiating the pairing process again starting with the speaker first.
