GENERAL WARNINGS
WARNING: Installation of your TigerStop® Product must be done by a person trained in the safe design and installation of automation products, and in the safe operation of power equipment. Ensure that such installation meets all legally required safety requirements and guidelines, and that proper guarding and safety devices are provided on all sides of the equipment to preclude unintended access during operation. Consult with and follow the recommendations of a qualified safety engineer.
WARNING: TigerStop® Products are components intended for use in conjunction with potentially dangerous machinery. The use of TigerStop® Products does not make other machinery safe. TigerStop® Products are not intended to substitute, in any manner, for safe operating practices in general, or for safety features present in other machines designed to make those machines as safe as possible. TIGERSTOP® PRODUCTS, IF USED OR INSTALLED IMPROPERLY, MAY CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH AND SHOULD ONLY BE OPERATED BY PERSONS TRAINED IN THEIR SAFE OPERATING PROCEDURES. Illustrations of TigerStop® Products in use do not show, and are not intended to show, all safety features and practices necessary for their safe operation.
INSTALLATION WARNINGS
WARNING: TigerStop® Products must be installed in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Only personnel properly trained in the safe design and installation of automation machinery and related power equipment should install TigerStop® Products onto other equipment, to ensure a safe and proper work station. TigerStop® Products should not be operated without proper training, both in the operation of TigerStop® Products, and in the operation of related equipment.
IMPORTANT CAUTION:
The motor box (compartment) contains high voltage with potentially FATAL amperage. NEVER attempt any unauthorized actions inside the motor box.
INTERCONNECTS
WARNING: Using a TigerStop® interconnect does not relieve you of the responsibility for making sure that your saw or other tool has all the necessary safety equipment in place. All installations must meet all legally required safety requirements and guidelines. Installation and training should be done following the recommendations of a qualified safety engineer.
OPERATION
DANGER: This machine can start, move and stop automatically. Keep hands and loose clothing clear of moving parts while operating. Moving parts can crush and cut. When used with a saw or other cutting equipment, bodily injury and death may result if operated without safety guards on all machines. Do not operate with guards removed. Operators must wear adequate eye and ear protection.

Keep the work area clean and well-lighted to avoid accidental injury.
Do not use TigerStop® machines in a dangerous environment. Always install TigerStop® machines indoors and according to the installation instructions.
Do not use TigerStop® machines in damp or wet locations or in rain. These conditions may result in shock or electrocution.
Do not operate near flammable liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmospheres!
Wear proper apparel: no loose clothes, long hair, or jewelry which could get pulled into moving machinery or materials.
Wear proper personal protective equipment: non-slip footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, and a dust mask.
Do not use extension cords with TigerStop® machines.
Do not open motor compartment or controller. High voltage with potentially FATAL amperage present! Disconnect power before servicing. No user-serviceable parts inside.
DO NOT operate this or any machine under the influence of drugs or alcohol!
Only fully-qualified personnel should operate this machine.
Read the entire manual before operation of this machine.

Installation
Label Peeler Installation
- If connected, disconnect the Printer’s power input plug.

2. Remove the two screws from the bottom of the Printer.

3. Slide the bezel off the front of the Printer.

4. Slide the Label Peeler up into where the bezel was.

5. Fasten the Label Peeler to the Printer with two screws.

Printer Stand Assembly
The printer stand mounts the printer to any support structure.
The printer stand pivots between 0-90° with the base hardware.
1. Place the Printer Stand Base Brackets against the Round Tube and insert two M8x45mm Hex-Head Screws through all three parts.

2. Fasten the Base Brackets to the round tube with M8 Flange Nuts.

3. Insert one M8x35mm T-bolt through each vertical slot in the Printer Stand Base Brackets. Fasten with M8 Flange Nuts.

4. Insert the Round Tube into the Square tube and fasten with an M6x14mm Socket-Head Screw.

5. Place the Spacer between the Square Tube’s holes.

6. Connect the Spacer, Printer Stand Base, and Tube with an M8x50mm Hex-Head Screw.

7. Fasten with an M8 Flange Nut.

8. Stick Hook and Loop Tape to the bottom of the Printer and the top of the Printer Stand Base.
9. Place the Printer onto the Printer Stand Base, facing forwards.

10. Attach the Printer Stand Cover to the Printer Stand Base using the tabs on the Cover.

Enabling
Printer won’t function until it is enabled.
Enable Code: ___________________________
1. At the Ready Screen, press the [Show] soft key.

2. Press the [Menu] soft key.

3. Enter the TigerStop®’s password and press ![]()
- By default, the TigerStop®’s password is the serial number.

4. Press ![]()

5. Press the [SysInfo] soft key.

6. Press

,
and then
in sequence.

8. Press
to erase the current enable code.
9. Press
to return to the Ready Screen.
10. Power down the TigerStop® and wait for 5 seconds.
11. Power up the TigerStop®.
12. Enter the enable code and press ![]()
- The TigerStop® is ready for Printer.


Setup
Printer requires TigerTouch to operate.
Follow the included ZD421 Printer Quick Start Guide to learn how to load labels and configure the printer.
When enabled, the printer prints a label for every part in a part list. Configure labels through TigerLink: https://www.tigerstop.com/service-center/
Activate Printer features through the TigerStop® Standard Controller by following these instructions.
Printer Type
Printer Type tells the TigerStop® which kind of printer is installed and enables printing.
- Access the Options menu and press
repeatedly until reaching the‘PrntType’ screen. - Press the

key. - Enter the password and then press

• The default password is the serial number. - Press the

] soft key to select a printer type.
• Select 1in, 2in, 3in, or 4in depending on the width of the labels in the printer.

Print Cut
Prints the part length and quantity on the label after every move to position. Adds this information to each label print in a cut list.
- Access the Options menu and press
repeatedly until reaching the‘PrintCut’ screen. - Press the

] soft key to select a font size and enable the setting.
• The font size only affects the part length and quantity information.

Options:
Standard – Prints the part length and quantity in the default font size.
Off – Disables the feature.
Large – Prints the part length and quantity in a larger font size.
