Licensing and installation instructions
After you buy downloadable software from Thomann, we’ll send you an e-mail containing an activation code and a link to the web page where you can re-deem this code.
Usually, this is the software manufacturer’s home-page, and you’ll have to set up your own customer account there, so that a licence can be assigned to you personally.
Step 01
Customer Account
If you do not yet have a Positive Grid customer account, please follow this link and enter the required information:

Once you have entered the data, you’ll receive an e-mail containing a confirmation link.
Please enter the activation code you have received from Thomann using this link:
Should you not be logged into your customer ac-count, the appropriate login window will appear.

Step 02
Installation
Then, you’ll be able to download the installation programme.
You’ll also find all your installation filed in your customer account’s “License & Download” section”
When you launch the plug-in or the standalone app for the first time, a login window will appear, prompting you to log in once more to activate the programme on your computer .In order to do so, your computer needs to be connected to the internet.
You can now start working with your new soft-ware. Please note that depending on the version of the programme you have purchased, individ-ual components may be listed that are not avail-able to your version.
Step 03
Tonecloud
Positive Grid also offers the option of logging in to the “Tonecloud”.
From this cloud, you can download various pre-sets and settings or share your settings with other users.
However, use of the cloud is not obligatory.
