Introduction

Thank you for your purchase of the Stack Sensor. This device attaches to the butt of TheStack Baseball Bat to measure swing speed and other important variables when there is not any ball contact. This device can be connected to your smart phone using BluetoothⓇ

TheStack GP Stack Sensor - icon 1 Do not use this device for practicing in places such as public places whereby the swinging apparatus or ball can be hazardous.

Attaching to TheStack Bat

TheStack Baseball Bat is equipped with an integrated threaded fastener at the butt of the bat to accommodate the Stack Sensor. To attach the Sensor to, position it in the designated slot and tighten it until secure. Regulatory Notices in the App

The Stack Sensor is designed to operate in conjunction with the Stack Baseball App on your  smart phone. Prior to signing in, the Sensor’s e-label can be accessed from the initial page of theonboarding process via the ‘Regulatory Notices’ button, shown below. Using with The Stack System

The Stack Sensor uses connectionless Bluetooth technology. There is no pairing with your phone/tablet required, and the Sensor does not need to be manually powered on to connect.
Just open TheStack App and start your session. Unlike other Bluetooth connections you may be used to, you will not need to go to your Settings App to pair.

  1. Launch TheStack Baseball App.
  2. Access Settings from the Menu and select Stack Sensor.
  3. Start your training session. The Bluetooth connection between the Sensor and the Appwill be shown on the screen prior to starting your workout. Toggle between multiple sensors using the ‘Device’ button at the bottom right of your screen.

Measuring

Relevant variables are measured by the sensor at the appropriate times during the swing, and correspondingly transmitted to the App.

  3. Swinging
    After the swing, results will be shown on your smart phone screen.

Troubleshooting

● TheStack App is not connecting via Bluetooth to the Stack Sensor

  • Please ensure that Bluetooth is enabled for TheStack Baseball App in your device Settings.
  • If Bluetooth is enabled, but swing speeds are not being sent to TheStack app, then force close TheStack app, and repeat the connection steps (page 6).

● Measurements seem incorrect

  • The swing speeds displayed by this device are those measured using our company’s unique criteria. For that reason, measurements may differ from those displayed by measurement devices from other manufacturers.
  • Correct clubhead speeds may not be displayed correctly if attached to a different bat.

  • If a malfunction occurs over the course of normal use during the warranty period stated in the warranty, we will repair the product free-of-charge in accordance with the content of this manual.
  • If repairs are necessary during the warranty period, attach the warranty to the product and request the retailer to perform repairs.
  • Note that charges will be applied for repairs performed for the following reasons, even during the warranty period.
    (1) Malfunctions or damage that occur due to fire, earthquakes, wind or flood damage, lightning, other natural hazards, or abnormal voltages
    (2) Malfunctions or damage that occur due to strong impacts applied after purchase when the product is moved or dropped, etc.
    (3) Malfunctions or damage for which the user is deemed to be at fault, such as improper repair or modification
    (4) Malfunctions or damage caused by the product getting wet or being left in extreme environments (such as high temperatures due to direct sunlight or extremely low temperatures)
    (5) Changes in appearance, such as due to being scratched during use
    (6) Replacement of consumables or accessories
    (7) Malfunctions or damage that occur due to battery fluid leakage
    (8) Malfunctions or damage deemed to have resulted from issues caused by the instructions in this user’s manual not being followed
    (9) If the warranty is not presented or required information (date of purchase, retailer name, etc.) is not filled in
    * Issues whereby the above mentioned conditions apply , as well as the scope of warranty when they do  not apply, will be handled at our discretion.
  • Please store this warranty in a safe location as it cannot be reissued.
