Fabric Requirements
If using scraps, bring a yard of a light, dark, and medium solids that work well with your scraps or 10 fat quarters that read as solids, such as tone on tone, small scale prints, solid cottons, shot cottons, and grunge. Additionally, you will need 1/2 yard of black and white fabric.
Helpful Hint: Warm tones include red, orange, yellow, red-orange, yellow-green, yellow-orange, etc. Cool tones consist of blue, green, purple, violet, red-violet, blue-green, etc.

Pre-class homework: Please come to class with all materials and be ready to work.

- 45mm rotary cutter with a new blade
- Ruler 6 1/2 x 24 or smaller 12 ½ inch square ruler
- New sewing machine needles: 90/14
- *If you own a Bernina, please bring your 1/4-inch foot {Bernina #37,57,97}
- Fabric scissors
- Pins or Clover wonder clips
- Pencil
- Stiletto by Annie’s
- Turntable cutting mat
- Neutral sewing thread for piecing
- Seam Ripper, manual or battery operated.
