ORDER OF THE STEPS FOR CONNECTING THE INBUILT WI-FI MODULE IN A TESY APPLIANCE TO THE INTERNET
/QUICK START A/

You need to register on www.mytesy.com. If you already have a registration, go directly to SETTINGS OF THE IN-BUILT WIRELESS COMMUNICATION  MODULE
Registration on www.mytesy.com.

  1. Open the web address www.mytesy.com in the address bar of the web browser.
  2. You can change language from the drop-down menu located under TESY Brand.
  3. Choose “Register as a new user”.
  4. Fill in the registration form using a valid email address.
  5. You will receive registration confirmation and a link for activation of your
    ACCOUNT. Follow the link to confirm the newly created ACCOUNT.
    Note: If you do not receive an e-mail in your inbox, please check the Spam or Junk folder.
  6. There is an available application tesyCloud for a smartphone or a tablet for both AndroidTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon and iOSTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 2. operating system. The applications can be found in the store’s Google Play and App Store (the device on which the application will be installed should be with the latest updated version of the respective operating system or at maximum up to one previous version).

SETTINGS OF THE IN-BUILT WI-FI COMMUNICATION DEVICE

  1. Open the “tesyCloud” app.
  2. In the “E-mail” and “Password” fields enter the email address and password that you have specified and confirmed in your registration on  https://www.mytesy.com.
  3. Press the «LOG IN” button.
    The main screen of the app opens. Using commands from this screen, you can:
  4. Personalize your user profile;
  5. Add different TESY appliances;
  6. Control the appliances in the list of devices and monitor their current status;

Status indication of the appliance:

To configure your account press the button on the main screen of the app.
On the screen you will see the parameters that can be changed at any time, as well as various useful information:

To add a device using the mobile app, press the «+» button.
Select the type of device that you want to add:

  • Press the TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 6button to turn off the device;
  • By pressing the buttons ▲and▼ on the convector panel at the same time for 10 seconds, N„_ _ __“ flashes on the display, and the symbols rotate. The appliance returns to „Factory settings“.
  • Turn on the WIFI module.

  • Turn on the wireless network of your device;
    TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - pen iconNote: In order to prevent unauthorized access to the wireless network of your appliance, the network is available (visible) for a period of 5 minutes after the initial power-on or reset. If you exceed this time it is necessary to reactivate/restart the wireless network of your appliance – see „Instructions for use and storage” – „Factory settings reset” function.
  • Press «NEXT»

Use your smartphone (‚i-pad, laptop) to activate the function for detecting wireless networks (Wi-Fi)
Manually enter the wireless network name of the device (TCHхххххххх), or scan the QR code.

Press «NEXT». The app automatically connects to the wireless network of the device.
A new screen opens – local interface Indoor connect. In order to connect the converter to your home Wi-Fi network and from there to the internet,  complete the following sequence of steps from submenu Quick setup /QUICK START C/ from menu Settings:
Connection >> 2. Date and time >> 3. mytesy.com >> 4.
Temperature correction >> 5. Wi-Fi Security

CONTROL OF THE CONVECTOR THROUGH THE BUILT-IN WI-FI COMMUNICATION DEVICE
The convector can be controlled via the built-in Wi-Fi communication device via the Control panel menu.

TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 35Open window (only for model CN04) – The appliance is equipped with an integrated electronic device that automatically switches off the heating power if a  sharp decrease of temperature is found in the room when a window or a door is open. When the temperature in the room begins increasing the heating will be automatically restored.
TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 17Lock device – You can lock the buttons, in order to prevent any changes to the settings.
TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 18Anti-frost – If the room temperature falls below 5 degrees Celsius and the convector is off (the red LED is not lit, but the mechanical switch is in position “I”  (On) ), the heater will be automatically switched on in order to prevent from freezing.

Basic mode – Choose from your desired temperature. Once the convector reaches it, it will keep it.
Delay start – Тhe appliance is in Off mode, you can use the arrows to set the time when the appliance is to be switched on within 96 hours. Once the time has passed, the convector will always be launched in the „Manual program“.
Weekly program – This program allows you to configure the temperature of your convector at any time of the week throughout the week. For each hour, you can set one of the three states of the convector.

Settings of weekly program /QUICK START E 4./– you should enter the following parameters:

  • Start and end time;
  • Desired temperature;
  • Weekdays;
  • Button Save.

Adaptive start – The convector will start early to reach the set temperature in the specified time range.

Additional functions:

It provides information about the instantaneous power consumption of the convector from the time of the first switching on.

Operation via the internet

From the list of registered devices, select the device you want to control.
A screen opens with controls that allow you to select the mode of operation, to monitor the current status of the appliance, to make a detailed reference of the consumed energy.

  1. To be able to operate your device, it must be switched on.
  2. Manual operation mode – press the TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 19button.
    When you select the “Manual” modeTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 19, you can set the desired temperature in the room to be heated by moving the slider left and right. During heating, the message “HEATING” will appear on the screen. When the appliance has reached the set value the message “READY” will appear on the screen.
  3. Weekly programmer mode –
    In Program modeTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 20, the appliance functions when the settings in the Weekly Program menu have been done. (week programmer). You can exit this mode by switching the appliance on or off from the ON/OFF button, or by changing the setting of the set temperature, i.e. you are in the manual settings regime. To see the time schedule of each program and to change it, if needed, press the TESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 21.buttons (see P.7).
  4. Adaptive start – to activate, pressTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 22 – Adaptive start control is a function which predicts and initiates the optimal start of heating up in order to reach the set temperature in the desired time.

  7. Weekly programmer
    To see the schedule of operation for each program and if necessary, to change it, press theTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 21. buttons.
    7.1 A diagram of the weekly schedule of operation of the electrical convector for the selected program opens. Select a day from the diagram to see the detailed schedule and edit the current settings.
    7.2 A new screen opens where you can:
    • Select a program;
    • Select day of the week;
    • Scale with the equivalent of temperature. Using the slider on the the scale you can select the preferred reading ;
    • Bar chart visualizing the setting for operation by hours.
    Algorithm for creating a schedule for operation of an electrical convector:
    1. Select a program of operation;
    2. Select day of the week;
    3. Select the temperature using the slider on the right of the screen.
    4. Select the bar for the hour you want to set up. The length of the bar changes and the set temperature is written in it.
    7.3. Using theTESY CN04 Built In Wireless Communication Module - icon 25 button in the upper right corner of the screen you can copy the current settings for other days of the week. A new screen opens where you  can select all days to which you want to copy the settings.
  8. Activity over the past 24 hours.
    The schedule displays information about the operation of the appliance over the past 24 hours.
    • Hourly status (heating, ready, off);
    • Temperature

    • Power consumption from the date of the last reset;
    • The counter value can be cleared using the „Reset“ button.
    • Detailed information about the consumed energy for the current day, the previous day, for the year.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Unsuccessful connecting to the home Wi-Fi network (wireless connection) Check if the modem is switched on.
If you use a portable computer, make sure that the wireless connection switch on the front, at the side or
at the back of the portable computer is in “on” mode.
Make sure you type your  home network password correctly
Wait for about a minute and check again if the connection is established.
The convector does not appear in the application Check if your router is connected to the Internet.
The convector has to be connected to a wireless router (modem) in your home (office).
Check if the convector is properly connected to the wireless router (modem).
Check whether you have entered correctly the email address of your profile.
When you select the “Search for networks” option on your Smart device, the convector is not seen Go near the convector
Check if the appliance is connected to the electrical grid or if it is turned off by the mechanical switch.
The convector is properly connected but does not work. Restart the application.
When you select the “Search for networks”  option on your Smart device, multiple devices are seen. Select the convector whose number is shown on a label next to the rating plate.
If the inbuilt wireless module does not see the wireless router (modem) Place the convector in a position with the wireless router (modem) in sight.
Use an additional wireless modem to boost the signal of the wireless router (modem)
After I have connected to the wi-fi network of the appliance, I cannot see it on the browser  panel Enter the 10.0.0.1 address in the box for entering the browser address and you will see the application.
You have forgotten the password for the  wireless Wi-Fi device of the convector If you have forgotten your password for encrypting your network, you will have to use the RESET function
of the convector to turn it back to factory settings. You have to push and hold the “up” and “down” arrows
simultaneously when the convector is in an “off” mode. Then you have to set the convector again.
When attempting at restoring the factory settings, the appliance does not restore the  factory settings At the restart, the appliance has to be switched off by the “small” switch on the control panel. The display
should be lit up but no other indicators should be on.
Your appliance could not reconnect to the  wireless router (modem) You have a new wireless router (modem). Please set the convector again.
A factory reset has been performed. Please set the convector again.
Not assigned product to the home Wi-Fi network
Upon opening the mobile application, the main menu is visualized in the
electrical convector’s network
If upon activation of the mobile application the main menu of the appliance is loaded, and not the dedicated screen for control via the Internet, you need to stop the direct Wi-Fi connection with the appliance  established through its aerial wireless network TCHxxxxxxxx and then connect to your home network
