Condition
On certain vehicles, the incorrect front vehicle controller module may be installed.
Correction
Replace the front vehicle controller module with a part compatible with the vehicle’s configuration.
NOTE: If this bulletin is applicable to the vehicle, perform the correction without any need for inspection.

Procedure
1. Replace the front body controller module with a compatible part and make sure it is consistent with the vehicle’s
Auto Pilot (AP) hardware configuration, as outlined in Tables 1 and 2.
- Refer to Toolbox Article #9480157 for additional details on Model S (2021+) and Model X (2021+) controller module and AP hardware type compatibility.
- Refer to Toolbox Article #9449800 for additional details on Model 3 (2017–2023) and Model Y (2020–2024) controller module and AP hardware type compatibility.
