TEROW Cloud-Managed PoE Switch

Overview
This Cloud-Managed PoE Switch supports cloud management via a Cloud Management App, WeChat Mini Program, or a web management interface, enabling centralized monitoring and configuration of PoE and network features.
The Cloud-Managed PoE Switch supports three management methods: Cloud Management App, WeChat Mini Program, and Web management. The App and WeChat Mini Program share the same interface and are introduced together.
Cloud Management App & WeChat Mini Program Management
Logging into the Cloud Management Interface
- WeChat Mini Program login:
Open WeChat, scan the icon on the bottom label of the switch, or search for “Cloud Managed Switch” in WeChat to find the mini program. This will take you to the login interface. Tap “Login” and bind your mobile phone number. - Cloud Management App login:
Scan the App download icon on the bottom of the device to download and install the Cloud Management App, or search for “Cloud Managed Switch” in your phone’s app store. Open the App, tap “Login”, and bind your mobile phone number.
Cloud Management Interface Functions

“Home” interface:
- My Projects: Create new project names and add descriptions. By scanning the device ID QR code on the bottom of each Cloud-Managed PoE Switch in the project, you can add all switches to the project for centralized management.
- Topology: Click the topology diagram in a project to view the network topology of all Cloud-Managed PoE Switches in that project. Use + and – to zoom in/out, and click the refresh icon to refresh.
“My” interface:
- Scan: Scan the device ID QR code to add a Cloud-Managed PoE Switch.
- Logout: Tap to log out of the cloud management program.
Tap on a device in the project to view all Cloud-Managed PoE Switches in that project. Tap any online device to enter its cloud management device interface.

Cloud-Managed PoE Switch Functions
Basic Information
- Details: Modify device name, view device model and dynamic IP address, modify the device’s web management IP address, view MAC address, firmware version, device uptime, device status, and historical temperature trends. The details also show interconnect port speed, PoE status, PoE voltage, and real-time operating power.
- Port Status: Real-time display of each port’s status.
- Port Details: Shows real-time status, operating speed, and PoE output power for each port. Tap any port to enter its detailed configuration interface:
- a. Port Remark: Add a remark (max 16 characters).
- b. Port Enable/Disable: Enable or disable the port (enabled by default).
- c. Port Speed: Configure speed/duplex: Auto-negotiation / 10M half-duplex / 10M full-duplex / 100M half-duplex / 100M full-duplex / 1G.
- d. Ingress/Egress Rate Limit: Set custom input/output rate limits; 0 means no limit.
- e. PoE On/Off: Enable/disable PoE on the port.
- f. PoE Restart: Click “Restart” to re-detect and restart PoE on the port.

VLAN Configuration
- 802.1Q Mode: *To be added!*
- MTU Mode: Enable/disable port isolation. When isolation is enabled, all PoE ports are isolated from each other (no communication between them) and only communicate with the interconnect port. When isolation is disabled, all ports communicate freely.
Statistics
View traffic statistics for each port for troubleshooting and analysis.

Advanced Settings
- Security Protection: Enable/disable storm control to effectively suppress broadcast traffic.
- PoE Management:
- a. Enable/disable PoE watchdog: When enabled, the PoE port monitors network anomalies and automatically restarts PoE power.
- b. Enable/disable PoE auto-extension: When enabled, detects the PoE port link status and automatically enables 250-meter long-distance extension.
- System Management:
- a. LED Locate: Click “Locate” – the device LED flashes brightly for easy identification.
- b. Online Upgrade: When a new firmware version is available, click “Upgrade” to perform an online upgrade.
- c. System Restart: Click “Restart” to reboot the system.
- d. Scheduled Restart: Configure scheduled restart time, interval days, and enable/disable.
- e. Factory Reset: Click “Reset” to clear all settings and restore the device to factory defaults.
Web Interface Management

Logging into the Web Management Interface
- Connection: Power on the Cloud-Managed PoE Switch, connect one end of an Ethernet cable to any RJ45 port on the switch, and the other end to your computer’s network port.
- Configure computer IP address:
- The default web management IP address of the switch is
10.10.10.10. Therefore, set your computer’s IP to10.10.10.X(where X can be any number from 1 to 255 except 10). - Steps: Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings → Local Connection → Properties → TCP/IPv4 → Select “Use the following IP address”. Click OK after configuration.
- The default web management IP address of the switch is
- Login: Open a web browser on your computer, enter
10.10.10.10, and press Enter. The cloud management login interface will appear. Default username:admin, password:admin. Click Login to enter the web management interface.
Web Management Functions

System Management
- System Information: Change the device system name.
- IP Settings: Change the web management IP address.
- Account Settings: Change the web management login username and password.
- Port Management: Change each port’s status (enable/disable), auto-negotiation (on/off), speed (10M half/full, 100M half/full, 1000M, 2.5G), and flow control (on/off).
Note: Flow control can be enabled and takes effect only when a port’s speed/duplex is set to 1000M full-duplex and its actual operating mode is 1000M full-duplex / 100M full-duplex / 10M full-duplex.

System Configuration
- IGMP Snooping:
- a. IGMP Snooping: Enable/Disable; IGMP Fast Leave: Enable/Disable; IGMP Report Suppression: Enable/Disable.
- b. IGMP Groups: *To be added!*
- c. Router Ports: Configure static/dynamic routing per port.
- Aggregation Management: Create up to two aggregation groups, each with up to four member ports.
- Loopback Protection: Enable/disable. When enabled, the switch detects loops on ports and automatically blocks any port where a loop is detected.
- Port Mirroring: All monitored ports clone RX/TX data to the monitoring port without disrupting normal communication, for network data analysis.
- Note: Multiple monitored ports can be set, but only one monitoring port is allowed; otherwise the configuration fails.
- Port Rate Limiting: Configure ingress/egress rate limits per port.
- Jumbo Frame Settings: Enable/disable jumbo frames and set the MTU size (up to 15K).
- EEE Settings: Enable/disable Energy-Efficient Ethernet mode per port.
VLAN
- MTU VLAN: Enable/disable MTU VLAN. When enabled, PoE ports are isolated from each other and only communicate with the uplink port. When disabled, all ports communicate freely.
- Port VLAN: Based on port grouping. Each port belongs to only one VLAN. Ports within the same VLAN can communicate; ports in different VLANs cannot.

Security
- MAC Management: *To be added!*

- Traffic Monitoring: View transmitted/received packet and byte counts per port.
- DHCP Snooping: *To be added!*
Tools
- System Upgrade: Choose a local upgrade file to upgrade. Do not power off during the upgrade. It is recommended to save the current configuration before upgrading.
- Backup & Restore: Back up the current configuration to your local device for later restoration. After restoring a configuration, you must manually restart the device for it to take effect. Restoring an incorrect configuration may cause the switch to become unmanageable.
- System Restore: Click “Reset” to restore factory defaults and reboot the device.
- Save Configuration: Click “Save” to save all changes made on the device.
- System Reboot: Click “Restart” to reboot the device.
Logout
After saving the configuration, click “Logout” to exit the management interface.
Troubleshooting
- Need to re-detect PoE on a specific port: Use the port’s PoE Restart function to re-detect and restart PoE on that port.
- PoE not responding due to anomalies: Enable PoE watchdog so the port monitors network anomalies and automatically restarts PoE power when needed.
- Traffic/packet issues across ports: Use Statistics / Traffic Monitoring to review ingress/egress and traffic statistics per port.
- Switch becomes unmanageable after changes: Restore via System Restore (factory reset) or use Backup & Restore; restoring an incorrect configuration may require factory defaults.
- Multiple monitored ports with port mirroring fails: Configure only one monitoring port; only one monitoring port is allowed even if multiple monitored ports are set.
- Don’t power off during firmware updates: For System Upgrade, do not power off during the upgrade, and it is recommended to back up the current configuration first.
