Overview

Smart WiFi radiator thermostat is base on low power consumption tuya WiFi module. It have been designed to replace traditional manual valve controller on radiator. Tuya cloud technology enable it with app control ,voice control, 4 time period/day weekly programming, child lock ,family share etc intelligent function. Attached with the TRV, we have offer valve installation accessories which make it compatible with over 90% of the radiator valve on market.

Operating instruction

Switch on and off	Please turn the knob until the screen displays “OF” when you turnoff the machine.You only need to turn the knob to adjust the required temperature when you start the machine.
Windowing function	When the window is opened, causing the room temperature drop more than 2’C within 15 minutes, the main screen displays”OP”. and it can be released automatically after 30 minutes or manually.
Anti-scale function	If the heat sink is not fully opened within one weeks or used for along time, the valve will be blocked due to silting-up, and the heat sink will not be able to be used. To ensure the normal use of the heat sink, the controller will automatically open the valve fully every one week. It will running 50 seconds per time.
Child lock function	In order to prevent the settings of the controller from being mistakenly modified by children, long press the knob to activate the child lock function in the power-on state, and the screen displays “LC”. If you need to unlock it,please repeat the activation operation.
Temporary mode	When TRV in auto mode, if you want to manually change the temperature turn the button to adjust the current temperature you want to set, this temperature will last till next programmed time period start.
Anti-freezing	Under OFF state (display “OF” ),the mobile APP shows that the anti.freezing function is on. when room temperature lower than 5 degrees Celsius, the valve open, when temperature rises to 7 degrees Celsius, the valve close.
Low voltage warning function	When the battery voltage is too low, the alarm symbol “will be displayed to remind the user to replace the battery.

Parts selection and installation

Controller Installation

1. Press the button and pull the protective cover up to remove it.
2. Install 4*AA battery and the protection cover.
3. After the battery is installed, the screen will display “in” and blinking, the internal push rod is retracting. When the “in” stops blinking, the push rod is retracted to the bottom, the TRV is ready to be installed on the radiator.
4. Remove the protective cover and remove the batteries to avoid misoperation during installation.
5. Rotate and tighten the controller copper ring and the automatic thermostatic valve installation thread interface of the heat sink.
6. Install 4*AA battery and the protection cover again.
7. When the “in” stops flashing, turn the knob, the TRV will enter self-check mode, the TRV will display “Ad” and the internal push rod will adapt to the opening and closing of the valve.
8. After the TRV self-check is completed, the screen will display the room temperature, indicating that it has been installed and can work normally.

WiFi Connection(FOR WIFI MODELONLY)

Before using your WIFI thermostat for the first time, you must configure the WIFI signal and setting through your smart phone or tablet. This will allow communication between your connected devices.

1. Step 1. Download your App
   For IOS devices, search for Smart Life/Tuya Smart in Apple Store and download. For Android devices, also can search for Smart Life/Tuya Smart in Google Play and download.
2. Step 2 Register and log in your account
   Open your Smart Life/Tuya Smart, you will get a page of Log In and Sign Up. Press Sign Up and enter your phone no. or email (Fig 2-2) then you can get a verification code. Input your password and confirm to complete your registration. If you have account, please log in(Fig 2-3).
   
3. Step 3 Connect your Wi-Fi signal On your thermostat
   Turn the top knob of the TRV counterclockwise until the screen displays “–”, then press and hold the knob until the wifi icon  will flash.

Then, go back to the home page of your app

1. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth function.
2. Press the + on the upper right corner of the page (Fig 3-1) to add your device.
3. The thermostat icon will appear in the search bar at the top. Tap the icon to access the wifi connection.
4. Select your network and back to your app to enter the password of your wireless router and confirm, the app will connect automatically(Fig 3-3). This may typically take up to 5~90 seconds to complete(Fig 3-4).When your room is established successfully, it will display on the home screen, the function of the buttons are as the following:
   Mode button, press it to switch the thermostat between “Manual mode” and “Programming mode”.
   Week program setting button, press it to setting the week programming.
   Advanced setting button, press it to set the advanced settings.
