EXgarde Software Database Backup

To Create a Manual Backup

1. Open up the EXgarde Back Up Tool.
2. Make sure the Manual option is enabled.
3. Select a destination for the files to be saved to by using the Browse button.
4. When ready, press the Backup button.
   
5. This will now backup your database in your selected destination path.
6. When complete, a message will appear stating ‘Database backup completed successfully’.
7. You have now successfully backed up your Database.
8. In your specified path, you will have a folder created containing the type of backup, the name of the database and the date of the backup. Within that folder you have the database backup (.bak).
