Function Descriptions
- Power Button: Long press for 2 seconds to turn on or off. In the on state, press the button repeatedly to cycle through 8 working modes, accompanied by respective voice prompt: High Reverb, Medium Reverb, Low Reverb, Host Mode, Music Mode, Child Voice, Monster Voice, TF Card Mode (when TF card is inserted). Double-click to quickly return to High Reverb mode. The device retains the previously used mode upon power-up, and will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity in any mode.
- Indicator Light: Solid green when sufficient battery. Solid red if low battery. Blinking red while charging, and turns solid green when fully charged.
- Volume “+” Button: Press to increase volume, with 5 levels available. Maximum volume is indicated by a beep sound. In TF Card or music mode, long press to skip to the previous track.
- Volume “-1′ Button: Press to decrease volume, with 5 levels available. Minimum volume is indicated by a beep sound. In TF Card or music mode, long press to skip to the next track.
- TF Card Slot: Follow correct orientation to insert a TF card containing MP3 or WAV audio files for auto loop playback of all contained audio files.
- Type-C Port: Connect the Type-C charging cable to charge the device. OTG function supported, allowing you to connect it to your computer or smartphone via a Type-C data cable for lossless recording, plug-and-play, compatible with Windows, iOS, and Android systems.
Operating Instructions
Wireless Connection Pairing
To use the wireless connection feature for the first time, follow these steps to pair with your mobile device or other smart devices:
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on; it automatically enters pairing mode.
- Enable wireless connectivity in your mobile device’ s “Settings.”
- Search for “TAKSTAR H5” to connect; a prompt sound indicates success.
- On subsequent power-ups, it automatically reconnects to the last paired device.
Clearing Pairing Information: With the device off, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until you heara “beep,” confirming the clearing of pairing data.
Note: Wireless pairing is available in all other modes except Host Mode and TF Card Mode.
TF Card Playback and Recording
- Inset a TF card and switch to TF Card Mode to automatically loop all audio files on the inserted TF card.
- To enter recording mode, press and hold the Power and Volume + buttons; a prompt sound confirms.
- To stop recording, press the Power button; the recording plays automatically.
- To record again, repeat the process.
- To enable/disable single-track looping, press and hold the Power and Volume – buttons.
Note:
- Recording is only available in TF Card Mode.
- Removing the TF card switches to High Reverb mode.
OTG Function Usage
Connecting to Mobile Devices
Use an OTG cable, connect one end to the Speech Microphone’ s
Type-C port and the other end to your iOS or Android phone; the device will be automatically recognized.
iOS setup:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner and tap the speaker icon to open the audio management interface; check if “TAKSTAR H5” appears, indicating a successful connection.
- Open the karaoke recording app to start recording.
Android Setup:
The Speech Microphone is compatible with most OTG-enabled Android phones. Some models may restrict functionality; confirm OTG support with your device supplier. Certain brands may require OTG to be enabled manually for proper use.
Connecting to a Computer
- Use an OTG cable, connect one end to the Speech Microphone’ s Type-C port and the other end to the computer; the computer will automatically install the driver.
- Open the “Sound Control Panel” and set “TAKSTAR H5” as the default device under “Recording” and “Playback” tabs.
- Open the karaoke recording app to start recording.

Safety Instructions
To avoid electric shock, overheat, fire, radiation, explosion, mechanical risk and injury or property loss due to improper use, please read and observe the following items before use:
- Please check if the power of the connected equipment matches with that of this product before operation. Adjust the volume to proper level during operation. Do not operate at over-power or high-volume level for extended time to avoid product malfunction.
- If there is any abnormality during use (e.g., smoke, strange odor), please kill the power switch and unplug from power source, then send the product to the local after-sales service for repair.
- Power adapter used, if any, should be approved by CCC certification or similar standards and comply with the power supply requirements.
- Keep this product and its accessories in a dry and ventilated area. Do not store in a humid or dusty area for extended time. Keep away from fire, rain, liquid intrusion, bumping, throwing, vibrating, or from blocking any ventilation openings, to prevent malfunction.
- The product must, when installed on walls or ceilings, be fixed firmly in place at adequate strength to prevent from falling.
- Please abide by safety rules during operation. Do not use the product in places prohibited by laws or regulations to avoid accident.
- Do not disassemble or repair the product by yourself to avoid injury. If you have any questions or require any services, please contact our local after-sales service.
