The Smart AC Control works with most air conditioners with a remote control that displays the air conditioner’s current settings.

Steps
Register the device
- Your tado° app guides you through the registration of your device.
Connect to Wi-Fi
- Connect your Smart AC Control to the Internet using your smartphone.
Set up and test with AC
- Point your AC remote towards the Smart AC Control and press the On/Off button. When completed, you can test by setting different commands through the app and see how your AC reacts.
Position the device
- The tado° Smart AC Control can be mounted on a wall or placed on a table.
