Search “SYNCFO” in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and download the app.

Power IRIS unit.
To properly use this device you needs to download the Syncfo App and connect with bluetooth.
Reason: The date and time for both the main analyzer unit and the remote control are automatically synchronized when you connect the device to the Syncfo app. If you skip this, your date/time will be incorrect, which can lead to wrongly time-stamped records and data errors.

  1. Open the SYNCFO app, tap SYNCFO ME, then choose IRIS.SYNCFO-IRIS-Live-Dynamic-Color-Analyzer-fig-9
  2. The app will automatically detect nearby SYNCFO devices. Select your unit by its serial number.
  3. After the unit syncs, a prompt will appear asking if you want to download
    (Sync) new files. Confirm to begin downloading.SYNCFO-IRIS-Live-Dynamic-Color-Analyzer-fig-10New updates are available
  4. Select and manage files
    History files are organized by date and time, making it eas to find what you need.SYNCFO-IRIS-Live-Dynamic-Color-Analyzer-fig-11As recommended above, download(SYNCFO) all files from unit to your phone so you can delete, save/export, and share them from within the app. Ther file(s) you did not pick to download (SYNCFO) will be automatically remove and delected from the unit.

Download data
We recommend downloading all saved data to the Syncfo app each day after you finish roasting.

  • The IRIS unit can store up to 30 data files
  • When a new file would exceed this limit, the oldest file is automatically replaced by the newest. if you download (Sync) history files. The unit data will be clear.
  • Important: History files on the IRIS unit cannot be deleted, saved/exported, or shared unless they are first downloaded (Sync) to the SYNCFO app. The hostory files that you did not pick to download (Sync) to SYNCFO App will automatically removed from the history of unit.

Working with history data in the app

After you download history data from the IRIS unit to the SYNCFO App, you can:
Convert data into a line graph for comparison. (Max 5 files)(Figure 5)

Export to an Excel file for archiving or sharing. (Max 5 files)(Figure 6)

Important noice on NFC Usage

NFC system usage are only one condition. When you remote are not able to sync with IRIS unit or you are switching or changing your remote controller.

Operating:
Step one:The remote control program enters NFC mode (Figure 8).

Step two:Find the NFC logo on remote and move close to the IRIS unit. It will autocapture the signal and auto sync both unit. Figure 9).

Color Chart Calibration

The calibration plate has three colors: dark, medium, and light. Calibrate in order from dark, medium, to light. Confirm each card number during calibration.(Figure 10)

Different Settings

SYNCFO APP can be set to prioritize as the remote or the SYNCFO APP.

Precautions

  1. Laser Emission Port:Do not directly shine it into eyes or skin! Do not directly touch the temperature measurement probe tip with your hands, as skin oils can corrode the sensor coating!
    Cleaning Specification:After turning off the power, use a lint-free cloth to wipe the laser window in a single direction. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners.
  2. If the analyzer is moved, recalibration is required to ensure accuracy.
  3. Before start recording a data, Please confirm that the analyzer is being controlled via either the “Remote Control” or“SYNCFO APP.” The analyzer will only recognize one signal source during usage and cannot be changed. Changing in half way may cause analyzing data and information in different.
  4. FCC WarningThis device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
    1. This device may not cause harmful interference;
    2. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
