Product Usage Instructions
Operating the Lantern:
To turn the lantern on or off, press the power button. Press and hold the button for dimming the light to white or amber color. Use the skip buttons to move to the next song while playing music.
Bluetooth Function:
To activate Bluetooth mode, press the Bluetooth button. A tone will sound, and the button indicator will flash blue, indicating that the lantern is ready to sync with your mobile device. Make sure you are connecting to the correct lantern if multiple devices are within range.
If you want to connect multiple lanterns for synchronized music playback, press the Bluetooth button on each lantern to activate them. After a prompt tone, all lanterns will sync together, playing music simultaneously with flashing blue indicators.
If the Bluetooth speaker is not working, follow these steps:
- If the indicator quickly flashes, move back within the 10-meter range for automatic re-sync.
- If the indicator remains blue, press the Bluetooth button to restart.
- If the indicator is off, press and hold the Bluetooth button to re-sync your mobile device.

OPERATING LANTERN
- Fully charge the lantern before turning on.
Solid Color Light Button: press to change among white, amber, dynamic flame, survival and off; press and hold for dimming on white or amber color.
Multi-color Light Button: press to change among Sunset, Dawn, Dusk, Sky and off; press and hold to activate recurrent mode of four colors.
Bluetooth Inter-sync Button: press and hold to sync more than one speaker together. (only needed for first time use)

Play/Pause Button: press and hold to turn on/off speaker; press to play or pause the music.
Volume Decrease
Previous Song Button: press to reduce volume; press and hold to reverse back to previous song.
Volume Increase
Next Song Button: press to increase volume; press and hold to skip to next song
Wireless Charging Button: press to activate the wireless charging pad on top.
BLUETOOTH FUNCTION
- Built for playing music on the go with compatible devices.
- Bluetooth connection range is 10 meters.
- With the lantern in standby mode, press and hold
button to activate Bluetooth . A tone will sound, and the button indicator will flash blue when the lantern is ready to sync with your mobile device.
- Turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone and enable the search to find the device. Note: If you have more than one lantern within range, make sure you are connecting to the appropriate speaker.
- Select “ST 88058” from the device list when it appears on your mobile phone. You will hear a prompt tone after they sync successfully. The indicator will turn solid blue. Reduce the volume on your mobile phone to avoid sudden loud sound bursts from the speaker.
- After successfully syncing your mobile phone with the lantern, you can now play music from your mobile phone wirelessly to the light. When the speaker is playing, the blue indicator will flash slowly.
- To sync the lantern with a different mobile device, disconnect Bluetooth from the currently paired phone; otherwise, it will automatically reconnect to the previous device.
- To sync multiple Tonlicht lanterns for simultaneous playback, press and hold the
button on one lantern to activate it. After a prompt tone, its indicator will stay blue. Repeat this step for each additional lantern. Once synced, all lanterns in the group will play music together, with flashing blue indicators on all except the primary lantern.
- Press and hold
button to turn off the inter-syncing and you will hear two short prompt tones.
- Press the Volume Decrease or Volume Increase buttons to reduce or increase volume.
- Press and hold
button to turn off Bluetooth. The blue indicator on the button will turn off.
- If the Bluetooth speaker is left idle, it will remain in standby mode while the paired device is in range. If the speaker is idle for 10 minutes, the lantern will power down.
- Bluetooth operates normally while lantern is powered on, charging and recharging.
- If you receive a phone call while playing music on the speaker, the Bluetooth speaker will pause, then resume play when the call ends.
If the Bluetooth speaker is not working:
- If the indicator quickly flashes, it is a sign the paired device is out of range. Return to the 10-meter range and the lantern will re-sync automatically.
- If the indicator remains blue, press
button to restart the Bluetooth.
- If the indicator is off, press and hold the
button the re-sync your mobile device.
RECHARGING & CHARGING BY USB CABLE
- Battery charging indicator is red when charging and is green when fully charged.
- Battery charging indicator is blue when USB output is used to charge other devices.
- After disconnecting the cable, the indicator stays blue for 40 seconds before automatically turning off, allowing USB output.
- The lantern powers off automatically while charging, but the Bluetooth speaker remains operational.
- If the lantern is fully charged, it can light up, play music, and charge other devices simultaneously.
- When the battery is completely drained, the lantern will take about 3-4 hours to fully charge.
CHARGING DEVICES BY WIRELESS PAD
- Be sure the device to be charged is with wireless charging function.
- Press the Wireless Charging Button to activate the wireless charging pad and the button indicator will flash blue slowly. Now the pad is ready to charge.
- Put the device onto the pad centered to match the wireless charging coil and the button indicator will turn solid blue during charging.
- The button Indicator flashes blue quickly when there is a metal stuff attached to the pad, remove it and restart the wireless charging to get recovered.
- Press the Wireless Charging Button to stop charging and The blue indicator on the button will turn off.
- TX Wireless Output: 5.0V=1.0A (5.0W)
If the wireless charging pad is not working:
- Be sure the device is matching to pad correctly.
- Be sure there is no metal stuff attached to the pad.
- Be sure the lantern is with enough capacity to do output.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Always keep the battery fully charged when not in use.
- Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperatures.
- Do not tamper with the external or internal components of the unit.
- Clean your unit with a dry cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used.
- Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight or in hot, humid or dusty places.
- Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise such as fluorescent lamps or motors.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the lantern does not work, check the following:
- Fully charge the lantern before first use.
- Ensure the cord is properly plugged into the power source to charge the battery.
- The battery may be depleted, allow the lantern to charge for about 3 to 4 hours.
- Make sure the lantern is powered on by pressing the Solid Color Light Button or Multi-color Light Button.
