7.2. Kusafisha
Wipe the multimeter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents.
7.3. Hifadhi
When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the multimeter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
8. Utatuzi wa shida
- Multimeter does not power on: Angalia usakinishaji wa betri na uhakikishe kuwa betri hazijaisha. Badilisha ikiwa ni lazima.
- No reading or 'OL' displayed for a valid measurement: Ensure the function dial is set to the correct mode and range. Check if test leads are properly connected and not damaged. For current measurements, ensure the multimeter is connected in series. For voltage measurements, ensure it's in parallel.
- Usomaji usio sahihi: Angalia kiwango cha betri. Hakikisha vidhibiti vya majaribio vinawasiliana vizuri. Hakikisha kitendakazi sahihi na masafa yamechaguliwa.
- Ikiwa kadi au ajali itatokea wakati wa matumizi: Please restart the multimeter.
- Hakuna ugunduzi wa NCV: Ensure the NCV mode is selected and the multimeter is brought close enough to the AC voltage chanzo.
9. Vidokezo vya Mtumiaji
- For precise resistance measurements, ensure the circuit is completely de-energized and any capacitors are discharged.
- When measuring current, always connect the multimeter in series with the load. Connecting it in parallel will short the circuit and likely blow the fuse.
- Utilize the 'HOLD' function to capture readings in hard-to-reach areas or when you need to record multiple values.
- The built-in magnet and hanging hole are very convenient for hands-free operation, especially when working on electrical panels or automotive systems.
- The flashlight is a useful feature for illuminating dark work areas, improving safety and accuracy.
